So, are there any group quests eventually, or do PQs essentially take the place of all group quests? I really like the PQs, but at the same time, I miss assembling a brigade of noobs. Hopefully, I'm just not far enough into the game yet.

Neat idea, gets the job done. I am going to stick with Badlands, I don't have any issue w/ the ques so far with Order. Hopefully enough people will split off to the new server and that will be that.

On the other hand Mendheim is bare, and my lvl 10 zealot is pretty damn boring right now because nobody is on that server. Hopefully that will pick up soon.

I have made my final decision. I abandoned Badlands because of this:

My friend and his posse are on Wolfenburg Order (that's open) and they have, erm, 'detailed knowledge' of the game.

And I found Thorgrim had a few larger guilds already so I know that the community will be great for a core server,

I want to play both Desto and Order and both Open and Core so this works well.

In case you guys havent heard yet, Mythic is cutting everyone off at 7am tomorrow morning if you havent entered your actual CD key and credit card info.

Everyone that hasnt received thier pre-order box yet (like me) will be SOL for the weekend.

I cancelled my pre-order with Circuit City (it hasnt even shipped yet) and will be picking it up at Best Buy tonight.

Pretty lame on Mythics part.

SO my zealot is now lvl 11, I don't want to leave tier 1, I am dominating. I guess all good things come to an end.

After a week of gameplay I've really enjoyed the game. Only thing is that the server I am on is pretty low population still, I hope it fills up soon.

Yea, after a week of playing, my bright wizard is rank 17 and has been a TON of fun. The only down side is what titans78 mentioned in regards to population. I really have to search around to find open RvR of any type of size and scenario queues don't pop at nearly the rate that they should. Hopefully the different servers will start to fill up with time. If not, maybe they'll collapse a couple of the smaller servers together to help alleviate the issue.

Having a blast playing though. The bright wizard is a lot of fun, but I see too many of them around.

I was thinking of creating a BW today on a more pop server. Getting frustrated w/ my IB because nobody can heal worth a damn on the order side. Like I said before, the zealot is my main char and favorite, but I'm heading into tier 2 and there is nobody on the server. The game doesn't function well without other people around, I can't solo, no scenarios, no rvr.

^ i know, I find myself just remaking characters to play at tier 1 on crowded servers to find people to play with. my main char is a lvl 15 zealot that i spent all last night running around in circles doing boring quests.

i think it will get better, just make sure you are on a high pop server. i'd rather put up w/ a 30 min que then run around for 30 minutes being chased by wolves.

I can't seem to figure out how to get into the first RvR quest thing. I joined the queue and was in it for over an hour and it never popped. I am thinking about rerolling onto an RvR server since I am mostly playing this game for 'pvp' (I don't know what the difference is).

you do know that you can fly to the other areas and get in a new scenario right?

^^ I would suggest sticking to a core, every map had rvr "lakes" where you are flagged so open rvr is pointless for nothing else but ganking. Just roll to a High/High server and you will get fast pops.

I am still waiting for my Witch Elf to actually be able to compete when there is a group of 6361883 casters/shadow warriors always clumped together. . .It seems like ranged has an edge in RvR at this time. Granted I am on the verge of getting stealth but from reading the tooltip is doesn't look too fabulous for avoiding far off detection.

Game has also gotten a ton better since release. I have an average comp and it is actually starting to run really well now, a lot less choppy in RvR action, if they keep improving at this rate it will be very smooth in the next month or two.

Also, the low pop server I'm on (middenheim) is starting to get going. Last night I had a blast, t2 order was out full force, tons of them all over. We were probably outnumbered 3 to 1.

Game has kept getting better and better. Also today they fixed it so you can que for all the tier scenarios. Has been fun.

Officially though, I'm sticking with the following 2 characters:

zealot on middenheim named slith
BW on Skull throne named rolluted

If anyone plays on either of those servers, hit me up.

So I decided to give a Zealot a try since a friend wanted to play a Chosen. My girlfriend walked up behind me and saw me playing him and she exclaimed, "That thing is hideous!" as the game goes on you just get more and more ragged ass clothes to put on him too. I am pretty sure I was wearing a stretched out guy's face at one point.. not sure though.

Fun class though, although everyone says shaman do the same things better. I think they are a pretty cool looking class too, so maybe go with one of those. Anything is better then some of the order looking healers.

^^ I actually do have a shammy that I just RvR with. That dude is hella crazy cool. The reduced cast time to the opposite set of spells is an interesting touch. I can heal peeps up and as the Order run away like pansies I can toss some damage at them with little effort.

^ If you dig around you may be able to find a free month thing. Other than that it's $15 a month.

Yeah I love my Shaman. I'm always laying dots so when I go to heal I can usually get the massive 600 heal off almost instantly. I'm still at 11 just dicking around so I'm sure it will just get better.

I still have no clue what I'm doing in the game and I'm sure being guilded would help.

The lists don't sort best to worst, the options are just by name, then by the rest of the catagories.
