Well I saw the weapons like the axe and chainsaw, but in the trailer I saw it says "when we run out of bullets." Now in L4D you could never run out of bullets(thank you pistols), is it a safe bet the pistol is no longer unlimited ammo?

i wish they would let you use left and right triggers for double pistols for better rapid fire. maybe that'll be a new addition

I'd expect all of this to be downloadable content for L4D instead of a whole new game

then again, this is what the console market it used to, and if valve is trying to break in there it may be what they have to do

I feel kind of cheated, it's barely been a year since the first L4D came out and now a new one? why not just give us DLC and more shit for the first one...

I preordered L4D and definitely feel cheated by the short life cycle of this game, especially from valve. the game never really seemed polished, matchmaking always sucked (especially since I didn't play with 3 other uber-1337 guys, I always ended up on the nub squad vs 4 14year olds who play the game 50 hours/week)

I enjoyed it for a while but ended up switching back to TF2, which released one double update and just announced yet another free update yesterday. I'll probably buy L4D2 when it goes below $20, but not at launch

anybody gotten the new crash course yet? it's only two chapters, so i guess they felt the need to cram it full of zombies to make up for it. i played through on normal just to get a feel for it, and the play up to the finale is pretty intense, but then the finale is pretty easy. they did add 10 new achievements though

I played a shit ton last night. So far charger is my favorite new infected. If you aim him right, you can pick up a survivor and run like a fucking mile away from the other survivors before hitting an obstacle. Spitter is amazing as well, because if all four survivors are in a room blocked by incoming zombies, you can just melt those fuckers to death. The jockey is pretty hilarious too, if you mount someone during a horde rush, you can run to the other side of the map and just let the zombies own the survivor.

Boomer (does same thing, spits zombie attracting bile on you)
Hunter (does same thing, pounces you)
Smoker (does same thing, snatches you from long distance)
Witch (she walks around now instead of just sitting around now)
Spitter (spits acid that can hurt you)
Charger (charges you, then slams you over and over)
Jockey (jumps on your head and takes you for a ride)
Mudmen (hits you and puts mud all over your screen)

... there may be more, but I haven't completed the game yet.
