Spoke with my attorney before I left Raleigh (Hurricane relief in Texas)... He said that since I waited past 24hour from the incident that I was pretty much fucked in regards to getting any of additional charges filed. Also the fact that I am in Texas doesn't help in regards to my injuries.

I guess when I initially said I didn't want to press charges over the phone to the arresting officer it hurt my chances of pressing charges in the future (duh). But I guess old boy is getting the smack down due to some FTA's and previous arrest warrants.

Either way- Not sure what the status is but I will certainly post when I hear something.

i think that your body tends to do that if there are foreign [dead] objects in the body.

actually i'm only saying this because after i had my wisdom teeth taken out, there was a BONE SPUR or some shit... where the oral surgeon had broken the tooth to get it out and it was either a tiny piece of jaw bone or tooth broken off under the spot where it was healing

all i know is that it started hurting like hell a couple weeks later and it turned out that the bone spur was being forced out of my gum. they ended up cutting in and tweezing it out real quick... took like 3 seconds. but it had made some pretty significant distance up until that point

maybe something small like a shotgun pellet would act the same way, with the body trying to expel it?
