yeah that 3 by Javi at the halftime buzzer was ridiculous, I was nearly right behind that goal and it was sailing so beautifully straight, one of those slow motion moments

i'll bet half the band missed the first few measures of the fight song because we were all going wild, not that anyone could notice because everybody was flipping out and bringing the house down

Other than the poor defense and some bad turnovers, I thought this was a good game for us.

We boxed out and rebounded better but still needs work.

Offense looked good without Fells.

there was a skirmish on the floor for the ball, after the refs blew the whistle and they got up, trevor tossed the ball, not hard, just kind of rolled it off the back of an ecu player who was walking away from him

it was a harmless gesture, but I can see how they'd T someone for it

^^^yeah, guy on the radio mentioned that, if it's the same guy. apparently he was hit (by harris i think) on a 3-attempt, and there wasn't a call. radio-guy said something like "well, everytime someone's near him he's flailing his arms and falling down, so he didn't get the call this time even though he probably should have"

I was wondering the same thing. It would make sense if he got some of those starts to boost his confidence, and to light a fire under fergusson. And he's played pretty well, but hasn't produced too much offense. But i'd think he'd get more than 6 minutes, he is one of our better defenders, and i have a feeling he's going to be a big contributor in seasons to come.

Also, where was Mays? He didn't even play, and he's been getting some decent minutes in the last few games.

^^I think Ferg is one of our best players, but I still like bringing him off the bench opposed to starting him. Some guys excel in that roll more than if they were starters.

I think he was trying to throw the ball to the ref, who wasn't paying attention and it went by him and hit one of the ecu players. Kind of a b/s tech call imo

They did a good job executing the planned defense which was not helping off any of the three point shooters. If they had then the guard would have had his usual non-scoring night but we decided not to help off and let him do his best to win the game.
