I linked to the forum you tard. I didn't even notice the little 'link' line stuck down at the bottom of the post else I might have read it. Regardless, I don't really put a ton of stock on some hearsay Andy Katz posted in his opinion piece. Why not name the schools that said that to him, seems like great press for those guys? I'd actually take a recruits word over his though it seems like in this case after having read through the forum for a few pages, Walker and his handlers are neurotic so we'll call it a wash on which is more believable.

Regardless of all that noise...it adds NOTHING to your argument that Gaudio is a failure. Nothing.

What more do you want from me? I told you I didn't see the link. I was trying to do a quick google to find anything related to the claim you made, you know, because you were and have been too lazy to do it yourself. I landed on a forum that had a piece of the Katz article quoted in direct contradiction to your statement. I'm not doing a research paper so I didn't bother to verify the veracity of what was quoted.

Trying to backtrack? I called it a wash. They aren't my claims you fool, they are the direct words from a recruit in the same Katz piece. I pointed out that I'd believe an actual recruit over the light information Katz posted (again, why wouldn't he put which schools commented about recruiting if it was PR favorable to them?) but I then went so far as to say that after reading through that thread for a bit it looks like Ty Walker and those around him are neurotic, so on this specific topic, we'll call it a wash. It's more than you've done to get to some sort of understanding in this entire thread, so don't get upset at me.

I don't respond to facts? Are you serious? I posted the fact that WFU was 17-13 in 07, 24-7 this year, touching #1 for a time, with 2 sophomores and a freshman as pointing directly to Gaudio's success, and all you can do is talk about a first round loss as your only criteria for him being a failure apparently.

We'd have to lose some scholarships and (gasp) let our facilities deteriorate before they would make us go back to division 2. Maybe even go down in enrollment? Once I thought we could achieve mediocrity by being demoted to a lesser conference. Then I realized that 1) we'd probably still be bottom feeders and 2) the other ACC schools aren't going to be that willing to erase an easy conference win off their schedule. They'd fight to keep us.
