Definitely agree with thumper. I really hope the blind guy goes home. He sucks so bad and they are way too nice to him.
I didn't think Anoop did that great either. I almost fell asleep during the song.
And Lil Rounds was awful, I felt like she was yelling the entire song.

Adam and Allison were by far the best of the night. Adam made a great transformation and showed everyone that he could show a softer, more tender side. And Allison, well for 16, she has an awesome quality of voice.

^^No, but I'm not surprised. A few weeks ago when I started voting, I didn't care enough to start remembering all of their names so I wrote down nicknames for voting reference. Not super original, but it fits.

But after seeing most of his online pictures, I dislike him cause he seems to be selling out a bit. I mean, if he's a superflaming drag queen, be a superflaming drag queen. Don't pretend to be some hometown boy who is only kinda gay.

no this is the first season that they aren't actually singing the group songs. now they just kinda dance and walk around lip syncing.

and she prob knew she was on borrowed time, she has had the vfw vote for the whole time but all the really bad ones were gone and vfw can only do so much.


and while these people do owe their success to AI, you cant act like AI is such a high standing org that the people should praise them nonstop, the producers basically do everything short of rigging the vote to get their fav's through.

I think they've done just fine in seasons past without lip syncing. Maybe this group just isn't good enough to do it. Which scares me, because if they can't perform one song together LIVE, how the hell are they going to tour???

i say they didn't lip sync in past seasons. i've watched every season since the show started. it's painfully obvious they are lip syncing now, because it sounds pre-recorded. in seasons past, it was obvious they were performing live. i'm sure people who have watched AI for years can back me up on this.

Hahahaha. Decided to check the thread out. The contestants just lip sync and this show is still popular?

Oh, and the reason I came to the thread. I was flipping through the stations the other day, I can't remember what day, and I paused in disbelief as I saw what appeared to be an extra off of that crappy Flintstones movie up there dancing with a guitar. Didn't watch long enough to see what that person's name was, but if that's the best they have this late into the game

They are now lip syncing the group songs in the beginning of the show, but their solo performance is (and always will be) live.

And yes, that Flinstones lookalike is actually one of the better contestants this season, 16yo old Allison. She was in the bottom 3 this week because it was a terrible performance, but she's actually very very good, and had she been the one voted off, the judges would have saved her.

Matt's only good every other week. For reason, America thinks Allison is only good every other week as well. I didn't think she was that bad this week--wasn't her best, but it wasn't bad either.
