man. today's games all have the potential to be good (i guess with the exception of the unc, duke, uconn games, though you never know).

i kinda like western kentucky as an upset (CAN I USE THAT WORD HERE!?!??!) team but i didn't pick them

however, mississippi state, i did pick, and i doubt they will win, but i just love those guys. the ucla vcu game could be a close one too.

Good call. I don't know if you blind-lucked in to that or not, but I picked the Hilltoppers in every one of my pools. Frankly, I was less than impressed with Illinois for most of the season, but they lost their starting PG to injury as well...

WKU has a pretty nice resume and I expect them to win...

Eh, their only signature win was Louisville on a neutral floor, and they lost to a ton of shitty teams. I don't like Illinois either, but WKU doesn't impress me at all.

I don't love WKU or anything, but Illinois has really struggled to score for long periods of time during the season (the game where they scored 33 comes to mind), so WKU won't really have to score a ton of points or play great defense to pull off the upset.

like I said, I'm not claiming UNC is going to lose but calling a game, any game, over with one team down 10 points and 30 minutes left is silly regardless of who is playing. Cal State Northridge looked much better than Memphis for most of the game and we all know how that worked out.

but anyways y'all should check out the Maryland-Cal game, much more entertaining than UNC-Radfor, Vasquez vs. Randle is looking epic so far

^^^Purdue struggled when Hummel (sp?) was seriously injured, he's still injured but is alot healthier now and they just won the Big 10 tourney (not that that is some great accomplishment but is still much more impressive than winning whatever tournament Northern Iowa won), plus I don't know anything about Northern Iowa so there's no way I'd pick them.
