The game took about 8 hours to download/install

The girlfriend messed with it for about 5 minutes while I binged on Skyrim for 6 hours

I ran a character up to level 6 last night. Seems pretty fun so far, but yeah, nothing exceptionally special about it.

They did handle instancing very well though.

The first PVE server I tried (at like 10PM pacific) to get on had a queue of like 2800 people, I tried another and it only had 300. Even 300 took like 10 minutes though. I am scared to even look at the queues on a Saturday, mid-day.

WTF, was able to watch the opening video, then the game froze and I had to exit out.

Now when I try to load the game back, I get a: "CEF Initialization Error" "Failed to load the required icudt library".

Ive tried restarting the computer, still get the error message.

Anybody else having this problem?

I was getting errors so I reran the install as a patch/fix and it fixed the errors I was having. The queues have tended to be pretty abitrary. I've found that if you just keep moving the moving the mouse / clicking shit so that the sever list comes back up and clicking the server that I get in immediately

So I'm like lvl 12ish and I have to say that this game is going to be awesome if there are tons of flashpoints. A couple cool little things, your companion does all the crafting and you can send your companion to sell all your grays, be prepared to spend a couple hours on flashpoints if you don't have a healer, be a healer and finally coruscant is possibly the coolest city I've played in an mmo or really most rpgs.

I enjoyed the beta. Rolled a Jedi Knight and Jedi Consular just to see how they play, and was impressed with both. I like the idea of being able to tank as a consular, but I'm not sure how viable it is since the lower level Flashpoints don't really need a tank so much.

I also look forward to potentially fucking with people in Flashpoint conversations since I fully intend on rolling a Dark Side character on the Republic come launch.

So I've followed the game some, but can anyone quickly explain why you have light and dark within each faction? I get that it has a bar and you can like level up in dark or light... but does that actually affect gameplay?

I got my consular up to like 12 and made him a healer, but barely got to do anything once I did. I also ran a bounty hunter up to like 6. Apparently it's very uncomfortable for me to pick the dark side options, though.

Have you ever played KOTOR or mass effect or like one of 7 other Bioware games? At level 12 i'm sure its irrelevant but once you have 3000 or so light/dark side points it effects what options you have in dialogue and eventually whether or not you can do entire quests.

Yeah I've played a lot of Bioware games, I just wasn't sure how it would actually make any difference if you were dark/light. I figured they wouldn't make it impact anything really important.
