ABC and NBC man. ABC has always given there more big budgeted shows a chance to pull through before giving the axe. Unlock NBC who, if the pilot doesn't pull in 8 millions households, will cancel a new show in a matter of weeks. Kings was heartbreaking as was Southland. Those really were the final straw for me in regards to NBC 1-hour dramas. I will not give in to anymore of them on NBC because none of them stand a chance to survive. Yet Heroes goes on.

man that was the best episode yet. I don't get it. Theres nothing on in December. In march you have lost, v, flashforward and college hoops. Thats way too much tv for anyone without a dvr. I own a dvr but how many people do you think have one? Also, in March, I always have a few nights where my dvr gets in a dilemma where 3 things are on at once.

^^for shows with full 22 episode seasons? most of the time these shows are only filming about 2 episodes ahead of the current broadcast run. you have one or two in the bag for spring return, then production shuts down for winter hiatus so everyone takes a break. That's absolutely normal. Now, as to why some aren't coming back until March is a bit different. And really, it wouldn't even be happening if it wasn't for the Olympics. If it was a non-olympic year these shows would all be returning in late January, early February like in the past. Production for most series should start back early next year as usual with only the broadcast being delayed.

If you have a show like this one, the prolonged hiatus is actually a blessing to make script changes and directional changes so the show can succeed instead of heading down the path to cancellation it seems to have veered.

i think fox is the worst at pulling potentially good shows, especially putting them all on friday nights. it's like they know beforehand it won't do well and put it in the worst possible slot, like they're obligated to put it on tv but don't really care if it succeeds (i'm thinking Drive here)

Does anyone still watch this? The last one I saw was that slow motion shootout where they all ducked behind the car and then came out busting shots like Billy the Kid. I have like 5 or 6 on the Tivo and I think it comes back on tonight, but I want to know if its worth the time investment, aka does it get any better (and do they kill off that faggot sponsor/cable guy with the dead daughter?) ?

I'm still attempting to watch, but only barely. The parking deck shootout was a complete facepalm scene - probably the single lowest point in the whole plot so far. The story has gotten marginally better since then, and there was a twist in the last episode which was just enough to keep me from bailing out. Otherwise, this show grates on my nerves quite a bit since I'm a fan of stories involving time/causality paradox and prevention thereof.

And I actually really liked it, but it left more questions than I had before the break for sure... though the FBI girl is either a moron or (hopefully) was instructed to think he "escaped" to track him around. I really hope it's the latter because the FBI can NOT be that incompetent.

I just got into this show as I counted on abc.com to have the episodes available to watch like they do with Lost. After just 3 episodes I am totally hooked, but as of 6am this morning they took down all but like the last 6 episodes! wtf!?!? Even Hulu was no help. Good show though.
