I think whomever gets the start at the RB spot is super unimportant. Those guys will both have 12-15+ carries in my book and be shuffled on and off the field!

^^I'm going to assume that you're driving your boat very slowly whilst dragging a myriad of different baits and lures at varying depths, but in case you're not...
The water cannons are a high pressure watering system that allows irrigation of the entire field surface without requiring scattered sprinker heads in the playing surface (a la golf course). This elminates potential trip hazards and turf damage. When not in use, the cannons are removed and the supply port is capped with hard cover that is topped with turf.

TOB: "We talked there we got a couple of questions in a couple of different spots, but we certainly don't have questions in key spots, that is quarterback and the offensive line on the offensive side of the ball and up front on defense. Those are things where we've won football games. We've won it because we've been good up front and had good quarterback play. In that part, we're a lot more experienced than we were this point a year ago."" |

pretty interesting, Lemon is backing up McKeen. Guy must not have missed a beat
also, the defensive secondary are almost all around 6ft, that's pretty big.

I think Baker getting the nod at RB is because of all he has gone through. I'm sure Eugene's cool with it as they will split carries and Eugene will get his share of starts this year at RB.
But TB's been thru hell and back. I hope he gets the first TD, unless of course TJ takes the opening kick to the house. 8/28/2009 4:20:15 PM |

i've kinda had the feeling that, for all this time TOB has been coy to the press and "uncertain" about TB's condition, it has been just a smokescreen so opponents will be complacent in gameplanning for our running attack.
TB jumping to the top of the depth chart speaks volumes. lookin forward to him bringing some pain this season. 8/28/2009 5:42:43 PM |

Wow, what happened to Deandre Morgan?
Hmm...hopefully the three pounds Justin Byers put on is a lot of muscle. I'm pretty nervous about how our secondary holds up (well really, the entire defense behind the front four). We lost Ellis, now Morgan isn't starting. I think the starter in the secondary who saw the most snaps last year is Justin Byers . Not only the secondary but really the entire defense behind the front four...with the exception of Ray Michel.
And ya know, I like seeing Tony Baker getting the nod. I really never saw Eugene as an every down/premier type of back. But definitely a nice balance between Eugene and Baker. 8/28/2009 11:30:58 PM |
wolfpack2105 All American 12428 Posts user info edit post |
^Morgan rolled an ankle in the last scrimmage i believe. It may be more precaution than anything. You'll prolly see him play quiiiite a bit. Having CJ Wilson and Koyal George as our starting CB's kinda frightens me 8/28/2009 11:32:55 PM |
tej434 Veteran 375 Posts user info edit post |
Ok, that would make sense. I was shocked when I saw that.
Personally...I would really like to see how having Clem Johnson and Earl Wolff start at safety would look. 8/28/2009 11:51:06 PM |

Eugene can be our every down back if need be. Do you all not remember how he pretty much put the offense on his back for the second half of the year in 2007? Dude had like 3 TDs and over 160 yards in the UNC game. They couldn't stop him.
