^yea, apparently that game was called after 4 minutes in cause the teams had accumulated about 600 penalty minutes. I especially love the guys jumping out of the penalty box to help fight again.

The ref situation in the NHL is out of control. It's rare that I ever hear Mike Maniscalco on 99.9 say anything of substance or insight, but he is dead on when he rants about the NHL being the only sport that doesn't keep its crews together. Of course that has nothing to do with the Auger situation; he shouldn't even be in the league to begin with.

You have to be fucking kidding me. After telling Burrows pre-game "I'm going to get you" and then pretty much making calls that cost the Canucks the game he gets to slip away scott free? Yet Burrows gets fined for talking about it? This is insanity. I don't like to bag on officials but this guy was butt hurt after getting called out for being wrong and now has carte blanche to go after players. Wow, just wow.

Aside from keeping the crews together, which I am not sure if the MLB does or not, those guys are pretty out of control also.

NHL ref's are terrible, and I think officials across all hockey leagues are pretty crappy. I remember working in the ECHL and those guys would taunt the players also.

Sometimes it seems just like southern politics, just a good ol' boy network. Most of the players and ref's have been together in leagues their entire junior to professional career.
