its pretty clear what his point was.

run the time out since they cant stop the clock

kick the field goal for the win. winning by 7 or 3 or 1 or 100 doesn't matter.

I agree with scoring it and putting the defense back on the field. since they only gave up 7 points all game.

but its not hard to see the point he was making.

I think the point we are making is that you NEVER play like a pussy and leave it up to the kicker if it can be avoided at all. If your D gives up a TD with seconds to play, you deserved to lose anyway.

his point is ~ inside 5 yds (with a 1st down and many timeouts)
his point is somewhat valid from 5-15 yds
his point is very valid from 15+ yds and farther
