lol. The free throw difference is what took us out of this game. Virginia has shot like 95% and we've shot around 50%. Not to mention we've been trying to force the ball to Smith and Horner the WHOLE 2nd half. Where are the shots for Wood.....where has Howell been? Vandenburg?? Degand?? anyone thats not pissed off about losing to an 8-4 virginia team AT HOME by 8 points needs to go fucking sit in the corner and think to themselves where the fuck they see our program heading.

Besides landesburg, we out-talent them at every position, yet we can't hit a fucking free throw and layup. Not to mention i didn't see any kind of change in offense in the 2nd half. It was all throw it around the 3 pt line and hope to bang it into smith.

Ok, a few turning points... The shitty charge on horner was a 6 point swing. Also near the end when it was still a 3 point game, smith had a clean great block from behind but was whistled for the foul. This team still has energy, but it's obvious that they haven't won any close one's in a while because they lose their composure at the end.

We're still fun to watch unlike last year.

Just take horner out forever. When smith misses those layups, there is no one to cleanup on the weakside when horner is in.

Horner had 12 points. He gave up off the top of my head
- 2 layups trying to guard landesberg
- 1 trying to guard some guy on the block
- blocked again by shorter guy in the post
- missed wide ass open 3
- took bad 3 at the end of the game
- missed FT

and probably burned numerous times on defense or caused other guys to get burned. Playing horner is not worth it. Go with howell or vandy. We need the rebounding and easy baskets more than anything horner provides.

I wanna say fuck CJ williams for not using that jumper he has. However, he probably knows that there is no rebounding down low to clean up for his mistakes.

I have to agree with this. I think Howell is going to start stealing more of his time as the season goes on. Benching Horner could cause chemistry problems though, he does seem to have taken on some of a leadership role (but he still sucks, especially in close end-game situations )

Farnold should start and see the most minutes. Mays should come in to give farnold and javy breaks. CJ should never see the court
