So, did they change the whole "there is no charging under the basket" rule mid season? Or do these refs just not know the actual rules of the game they're officiating.

Lance Thomas is everything I fucking hate about Duke. Play real defense you fuckstick instead of looking to flop every time out. You're fucking 6'9" and athletic as fuck. Leave the flops to the unathletic faggots like Paulus and Zoubek.

^ I was watching the Big East yesterday and they even have the arc under the basket and the guy was clearly right under the hoop and still go the charge called.

I get that it's a new rule and the refs won't be 100% on how and when it applies, especially without floor markers.

But still, when it's right next to the basket it's not a charge. They should at least be clear on that one.

Wasn't there an article that said that pretty much every National Champion the last 15-20 years had at least two solid NBA players on it and at least three guys who got drafted?

I'm thinking about Duke and the only guy I can see getting even drafted at this point is Singler and he'll probably be a fringe bench player at best... yet I do feel they have as good a chance as anyone not named Kansas to win it this year.

Bama's going to be up on Kentucky at the half!

It's just a matter of how much of a lead they'll have.

i think Scheyer may get drafted. and Mason Plumlee.

EVAN TURNER HOLY SHIT. in case anyone missed it, he drained a 40 foot 3 at the buzzer to beat Michigan

I wouldn't put it past one of the Plumlee's to fill the Jake Voshkul role on some pro team's bench for a while

Yeah, the younger Plumlee could possibly be drafted. He's super athletic and has a pretty nice faceup game already.

Scheyer isn't on any mock I've seen, but you have to take those with a grain of salt I guess.

i don't really know what role Scheyer could play on an NBA team, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him make a roster

I'd like VT to win because I think they've got a better chance of beating Duke, but after the way Miami has played this game and yesterdays game I'd be happy to see them win.

I don't think Miami has any real effect on NC State's NIT chances. Win tonight and we're probably a lock for the NIT, lose and we're bubbled pending the rest of the tourneys.

This has been one hell of a fun second half though.

Maybe if Greenberg had scheduled a decent OOC team besides Seton Hall, his team would be prepared for this tournament atmosphere

Man, the ACC must be PRAYING Maryland and us win tonight. Place is gonna be a ghost town if it's Duke, Miami, FSU and Georgia Tech.

^ yeah, VT had like the third or fourth worst OOC schedule in the country... pitifully bad.

Although I had VT beating Miami in my pick em', I'm glad Miami is going to win. I hate Seth Greenberg. He's like a little whiny brat on the sidelines throwing those temper tantrums. He's worse than Gary Williams.

Lunardi seems to think Va Tech might be OUT. That would be shocking for a 10-win ACC team to not make the tourney... and it would all be about how putrid their OOC SOS was.

Dream scenario...

GT over Maryland
NCSU over FSU
Miami over Duke
NCSU over GT

NCSU-Miami Final. All those UM fans would be so pissed they got rid of all their tickets.

miami should be in the ncaa with a win over duke. they had an amazing ooc. the ncaa needs to make up their mind. does ooc matter or not?

I'm glad vt is out. we have a much better chance against duke than we do against vt. forget the nit, if gt can beat maryland, I like our ncaa chances.
