I don't want to stop playing ECU because they aren't a rival, bad fans, whatever you want to say. I want to stop playing ECU because I like to see more variety in our schedule. If we want to expand our recruiting, we need to play in places outside of the state of NC.

^I agree. ECU is a good C-USA team. But it really doesn't help us at all to play them in terms of recruiting (or gaining national publicity and recognition). Granted, I don't think we should be playing 4 BCS teams in our OOC schedule, but we shouldn't play 2 C-USA teams and 1 FCS in the same season IMO.

Yeah, id like to see more variety in our schedule too. I mean id love to see a few of these teams on

our schedule within the next 3 seasons:
Michigan(just b/c I get tired of hearing all of the big ten bullshit)
Syracuse( only b/c Id like to play against a team that plays in a dome no other reason, and to piss
on their parade before bball season)
Georgia(we recruit from there like crazy we might as well suit up and have them on the field too)
Southern California(no other reason then to stick it to lane kiffin, and maybe steal a recruit or 2 in the process)
TCU (to see if the Horn Frogs are for real, and have home/home series with them)
Boise State (see reason above, and id take them any over Elon, App St or ecu on our schedule)
Ohio State (another home/home with the buckeyes, b/c we owe those fuckers some MUCH needed
payback)

Just going from wilson to Gville is 25 min drive, and thats w/out traffic, Id put money on that no way in hell you make it form Apex to downtown greenville in 45 min! Even traveling about 90 the whole way it would still at most get you there in like an hour and 15

I'll tell you one thing I respect about of ECU fans, is that they're batshit crazy about their football team. I have friends, ECU grads, who will drive to the ends of the earth to watch an ECU football game. Amazing when you consider they're never going to be that relevant on a national level (I know they're a force in CUSA ... but it's CUSA)

I can't say I understand it, but I respect it. Maybe Greenville is just really that boring.
