They moved the student lot as well... Just show your ID to the attendant at Gate A and you can park besides Carter Finley, no need to climb a damn mountain anymore.

I got there at 6:40 and made it through the line in like 30 seconds. You should be seated by tip off, not in the parking lot. Don't show up at 7:00 and complain.

I'm sorry I was being "rude." Next time I'm at a basketball game I will take into account the feelings of all the players, coaches and officials. The ten other people standing around laughing were out of line too. How dare they laugh at such "rude" statements. I should have known better than to interrupt your conversation with your bros about where your friends are sitting. Sounded like a riveting conversation by the way. To spend the better part of the game trying to figure out where your friends are sitting. They should really put up numbers above the sections so you can find the one you are looking for rather than just going by landmarks. To conclude, I will take your feelings into account next time and restrain myself. People have feelings we have to protect like fragile quail eggs. Heaven help us if some hooligans start yelling at officials. T'would be a travesty.

Well unfortunately I was with a handful of people that have no sense of urgency. They have been warned that I will be an asshole about time for the next game. So yeah, I did show up pretty close to tip, but thats still no excuse. At every other entrance to that building, people pile in 5 minutes before tip...but the student entrance is the only one that gets backed up like that. Plus, Ive been to games in the past where I did get there early, and still missed tipoff because the staff is sitting around with a thumb up its ass trying to figure out how to work the scanner. Ill take some blame on myself, but trying to funnel that many people through ONE door is stupid....it only becomes multiple doors after the game has begun (after all of the paying customers have entered I guess, because students are just a bunch of freeloaders you know).

I can't believe they scheduled a homecoming parade to end 20 minutes before the game. I was parked in front of Two Guys (actually went to dinner not thinking about the parade happening so close to game time) but still made it to my seat 5 minutes before tipoff though.

^^^^ yeah, they moved it to the complete opposite side of the stadium...

And to make things even more complicated they had one of those A signs setup by the VIP entrance pointing which way to go for students....except it had the exact same message on the other side, pointing in the opposite direction. So, if you were coming from the east, you started on the right side, and arrived on the wrong side .

I was nice enough to notify a bunch of the students coming from that way about it, but there were so many going the wrong way I just gave up. And of course, when I told the guys at the student gate about it they just chuckled and were like, yeah we know.

What mountain are you referring to? They let me in to park at gate C behind Vaughn towers like they've been doing for years. I think it may still be closer than A, even with the student entrance on the east side.

Allow me to impart my years of experience as an NC State student ticket holder. My illustrious career has spanned the glory days of Hodge, the travesty of the SG ticket skimming affair, the defiling of Carter Finley by thousands of drunk students (who really just had to pee really bad), the firing of the Chest, and the years of even worse basketball following Herb's dash for Tempe. In all of this time, I didn't really learn a lot as a result of my student ticket holding. But I did learn one very valuable lesson that I will share with you now.
