I'm not a huge fan of Black Eyed Peas so it's not like I follow them or anything, but two of their members seem to just be along for the ride. Those two dudes add nothing - I guess their cut of the bands profits is relegated to band dancer salary.

I guess if you're a fan of the band you liked it and if you're not you didn't. They did appear to have technical issues though. I'm guessing there were audio problems; there didn't seem to be much volume behind the mics and you could barely hear Slash's guitar.

And man, you'd think the Steelers never ran a two minute drill before. They wasted a good 25-30 seconds of the two minutes they had left just getting to the line.

^ There is a huge controversy over the length of the anthem. The over/under bet settled at 1 minute and 54 seconds from time Aguilera opened her mouth to the time she finished. Bodog’s official time was 1:53:07, meaning that those who took the under won. However, Bookmaker.com's time was over 1:54.

I am convinced that her boyfriend took the over.

She skipped a whole line...this should definitely play into the overall time and add 3+ seconds to compensate.

I was driving home from work when she sang and was thinking to myself "something isn't quite right" and it was confirmed immediately by the commentators that she had missed some of the words. It was quite hilarious. The one guy was like, "they are showing close ups of the players and a lot of them are misty eyed" and the other said "they're misty eyed because forgot the words to the national anthem, how 'bout that?!"
