Can't blame the guy. He is still currently AD of VCU so he did was he was told to do and that was to keep Shaka. It would be worse if he lost Shaka and then said "I'm out" too and left for Miami. That would have been some Lee Fowler AD shit right there. Him getting Shaka to stay at VCU probably helped his chances with the Miami position.
