Really?

Every single time they try to bring it back up, they get hacked. Every time. Just about every Sony Online Service and major website has been hacked in multiple countries. I personally, have never seen an ongoing global hacking event like this on a major corporation. They have been hit in Greece, the UK, the US, Japan, Thailand, and I'm sure I'm leaving several countries off.

About a year ago I started getting PSN notices on one of my email accounts and when this debacle happened I found it funny that all you needed to obtain the AllClear activation code was a valid PSN-associated email.

There has to be irony in using somebody else's identity to sign up for free ID theft monitoring services...

i'm trying to sign in but keep getting this error 80710D36. it's asking me to change my password, which i do, but then it won't let me in. what's going on? LBP on fb just said 40 mins ago i could sign in & get my free game

how do you lose the token? If you get the token, but then don't download a game, you can still get the game by going into account management/info whatever, then subscription services, or something like that. I'll check where it is when i get home. i did the same thing and had to go through this "back door" way to get my first game.

a friend told me today that a lot of people don't understand the welcome back package and think you can download ANY 2 games for free and it just won't dock your credit card.
Then, they are finding out that isn't the case and complaining to Sony that their details are misleading.
I don't know his source, but it wouldn't surprise me if some people were screwing it up.

RedGuard: I've owned Wipeout HD for a while, and I love it. It gets ridiculously frustrating in the higher speed classes (like any Wipeout game), but the races are fun. You can create your own playlist from music on your PS3, too.
