any so-called christian who believed that shit needs to get back in the Word. Because it explicitly states that no man knows when the Lord is returning. All these are are false prophets. If there were evidence of some sort of possible return than there'd be no need for faith
i hardly even paid attention to all that garbage honestly because its just some nutjob stirring up shit, I cant imagine why this was such a huge deal honestly

During the day at Mellow Mushroom I saw several "Christian" tables filter in and out before 6...and almost every one of them had a drink or two. 5/23/2011 10:56:28 AM |

link to Camping's comments about the Rapture, its apparently a live blog of his sermon or something. Dude still thinks something happened and that the world is still on track to end on October 21, 2011. What a fucking hack
Quote : | ""If we found that we make a mistake, immediately we will correct that, of course," says Camping, but he says he was not incorrect his in math, just his interpretation about how May 21 would play out. He calls the day "an invisible Judgment."" |
Quote : | ""On May 21 this last weekend...God again brought Judgment on the world...We didn't feel any difference," he says, "but we know that God brought Judgment" on the world. "The whole world is under Judgment."" |
Quote : | "Camping quotes a listener who had written him a letter at an unspecified time. The listener wrote he believes that "the great earthquake and the universe melting in fervent heat will all happen on the last day, Oct. 21, 2011."
The preacher says that Family Radio will investigate that prediction, but admits "we have been saying it was going to happen on May 21" and that "the great earthquake didn't happen on May 21 because no one would be able to survive it for a few days or let alone five months to suffer God's wrath."" |
and my favorite - I guess he started to fall asleep during his sermon and someone had to wake him up
Quote : | ""Harold!" a man says. Camping seems to have forgotten he was on air. "Okay, I want to go on with this monologue," Camping responds after a quick delay." |

Quote : | "Through chatting with a friend over what he acknowledged was a very difficult weekend, it dawned on him that instead of the biblical Rapture in which the faithful would be swept up to the heavens, May 21 had instead been a "spiritual" Judgment Day, which places the entire world under Christ's judgment, he said.
The globe will be completely destroyed in five months, he said, when the apocalypse comes. But because God's judgment and salvation were completed on Saturday, there's no point in continuing to warn people about it, so his network will now just play Christian music and programs until the final end on Oct. 21.
"We've always said May 21 was the day, but we didn't understand altogether the spiritual meaning," he said. "The fact is there is only one kind of people who will ascend into heaven ... if God has saved them they're going to be caught up."" |
