32G sold for 215 in about an hour after the auction was out of the index queue and searchable. Is nice!

Hopefully HP opens the floodgates this week and everyone that wants one will have it. TouchDroid seems to have a lot of momentum. I haven't followed the progress of the xda group.

Also do they executives at HP have their head so far up their ass they do not see how they could easily be in the tablet business if they were not determined to use their own OS.

There is not room for more than a couple of operating systems, most people are not going to drop $400 on a device with a niche OS that is probably going to be abandoned after failing to catch on.

There's plenty of room in the market for another tablet OS, considering the current competitors are horribly underwhelming. That said, Palm bombed the release of webOS in the first place, then sat on their hands for years, and then HP bought them and did an even worse job of delivering products.

If the Touchpad had been released in February when it was originally announced, it would've been directly up against the Xoom and might have had a prayer of selling well. Instead, it was 6 months too late and here we are.

I ordered a little before 7:30 and just have "In Process: Not Yet Shipped" on the actual order details page and the "can't be processed" message if I click my account-order status. And wtf, my call must not be too important if you can't take my call and are telling me to call again later.
