I'm uploading the tracks individually, and I'm happy to send a link to anyone who wants it. Be warned, the leak is not the highest quality, and "The Hours" cuts off at the very end. Still, it's awesome to get to listen to this 2 months early! And, yes, I will be purchasing the vinyl when it comes out.

^ yeh, the span from "The New Year" to the end is particularly amazing. In a year of front-loaded records, it's nice that this is consistently good throughout and actually saves some its gems for the end.

I think the problem is that she didn't make any songwriting modifications to take advantage of the cleaner production. It's all too convenient that I can use Wavves to make this comparison, but when he did a real studio record he pulled back some of the stuff that made the fuzz work so well.

This song would be better with fuzzy production, or with a thicker slate of guitars to fill space (Spector reverb needs some semblance of Spector instrumentation). Without either, it sounds very small.
