Defense and offense stepped it up in the second half. Just needed to calm the fuck down.

Turned out to be a mediocre offensive game for us, but above average defensive game.

Wake is a poor offensive team, and we held them below their offensive averages. They are a poor defensive team and they held us below our averages.

So, not a complete game but a big win over a team we should beat by a lot.

It was pretty brutal. If he wasn't Wake's leading only scorer he would probably be serving a games suspension. On the replay it looks like he looks over his shoulder and aims his elbow straight at Wood's head.

I went to the game.

The crowd was about 50/50 state/wake fans. That all changed with 10 minutes left in the game. 2 Wolfpack chants started and lasted a while during that time.

CJL wasn't hustling during warmups either. he was walking everything when the others would jog.

Lutz was yelling very loud during the first half. He did more yelling than Sidney did his entire tenure at State.

State would have scored more points in the first half but Wake slowed the game down by holding many posessions and firing up a shot with 1 or 2 seconds left on the shot clock.

Our biggest issue with our long jumpshots is that we don't follow our shot.

CJL left in the second half for a few minutes because of a twisted ankle. I think he twisted it when he was going out of bounds a few seconds earlier.

TDT did not impress. Glad to see that the end of the bench got a little PT. If Gott had left the starters in the last 5 minutes of the game, I doubt WFU would have scored more than 35 points. In fact I think WFU's last 5 points came in the last minute of the game on the 3 pointer and the layup at the buzzer.
