Asik is a really good player but hes not a great fit with dwight. As much as I love playing two big men together, Miami kinda forces your hand by running lebron at PF now.

Lin is solid but with harden such a great penetrator the rockets would probably rather have a better shooter who is less turnover prone and can play defense.

It makes sense. Theyre a great team already but they could definitely increase their title chances with the right deal. The poison pill they put in lins contract may force them to wait until mid year the following season though.

Lin is an average defender, fully capable of starting for most teams. He doesn't have elite lateral quickness but he blocks a lot of shots for a guard and plays decent help D. Unfortunately, Houston has one of the worst perimeter defenders in the league in Harden, which is why they have to rely on a defensive specialist like Beverley to pick up the slack.
