Liberty beat UNC 5-3 at UNC tonight. Someone posted on PP that UNC used their Sat starter.

Boyd's World shows us as needing to go 17-2 to be a national seed and 15-4 to host.

Pitching has died against Campbell and BC in the 5/6th innings and he are not getting timely hits. Hopefully Rodon will keep his trend going and get us some confidence for the double header.

I've also seen things about us not getting a regional solely based on having too many top teams in proximity, and us being at the bottom of the feeding order.

Tzamtzis pitched 7.2 innings of shut out baseball allowing just 2 hits. Ogburn came in and shut down Duke too.

getting this freshman class into school and out of the minor leagues was the best luck that has fallen upon this program in a long, long time. These young kids (who we'll have 2 more years after this one) are just nasty.

Won Game 1 8-4. Was very back and forth until the 5 run explosion in the 7th. State had 3 homers on the night from Senay, Canela, and Mathews with Canela/Mathews hitting back to back. Canela's hit the Sprite/Domino's sign on the right part of the scoreboard.

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State’s Saturday contest with CSU Bakersfield has been called due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Senior day will take place following the second game of Sunday’s doubleheader.

Both games Sunday will be broadcast on the radio at 88.1 WKNC, fans can follow Twitter updates from @NCStateBaseball, and live stats will be available at GoPack.com.
