2. TONS of money poured into advertising.
3. Some recognizable actors/actresses.
4. Good time slot.
5. NBC. Where everything's made up, and the ratings don't matter.

I enjoyed the second half of the season better than the first half.

meh the second half of the season after they started getting out of the monroe republic was much better. I see what they were going for, but not having -anyone- in the monroe republic develop steam tech in 15 years really threw people.

granted they were trying to show how evil dictatorships can be and how the stifle progress. It took a bit to long to reveal it in the show so people went off on the wtf is this magic tangent instead of getting the point.

Pretty decent opener I guess. I'm glad Aaron didn't die, he's probably the most likeable character. I'm kind of tired of seeing Miles as the absolutely best fighter in the world though.

the first half of the second season had a lot of potential... but they sucked it up pretty efficiently. i don't blame them for cancelling.
