I'd love to just dismiss it as "lol preseason", but it's become a trend since Rivera came on. Slow preseason ---> slow start -----> shitty record. Offense also looks worse than ever. Gettleman should have blown up the coaching staff, but it's too late now. So far he's proven to be pretty good at accounting and contract negotiations but a pretty poor talent evaluator.

We looked absolutely terrible last game. Our secondary and offensive line might literally be the worst in the league. We have a lot of talent but you just can't have such glaring weaknesses. And Rivera just doesn't seem to be an NFL head coach.

If they can't at least contend for the playoffs with this roster Rivera needs to go. He and Hurney have wasted our cheap seasons for Cam. We're going to have to pay him an assload soon and that will weaken us elsewhere.

Yeah but its not like we were gameplanning their gimmicky college offense either

And secondaries are overrated in today's pass-happy NFL...the best way to slow down Tom Brady or Peyton Manning is to put them on their ass, not try to cover all their receivers for 5 seconds...and our defensive line is legit

There isn't a single prediction in my post.

Obviously our o line is garbage and our secondary is a question mark.

I agree a good pass rush Is more vital than great corners but im not sure our secondary is nfl caliber other than norman.

Just in general the team looks as disorganized as ever. This isnt a good sign.

We should have a top ~8 defense and top 15 offense. If special teams doesn't blow for once we should be

Deangelo looked Ok against Chicago but not philly. But Tolbert and Stewart haven't played. But as is the case with every preseason game, it's just a bunch of vanilla offenses going against typical defenses. Nothing to be alarmed about. We do definitely need some offensive line depth though.

Well I mean kalil is a stud but hes a freaking center. Gross is solid but injuries have limited him the past few years.

We have the worst guards in the league. Silatolu was a blown block machine last year he wasn't close to ready for the nfl.

Byron bell is incapable of pass blocking at rt so we literally have to provide him help on every passing play. Huge liability.

well, lookin' pretty shitty so far. 3 and out, with some penalties on offense, and then they straight up gauged the entire defense on that drive, no pass rush, no pressure in the secondary. terrible
