figured out how to buy perks. Im not sure what happened but I didnt have the option to buy perks before. Maybe because I didnt have enough credits so it didnt give me the option.

^make sure you have the necessary open spots available in your loadout. I think that's what happened to me when for a moment I thought I couldn't purchase one.

I really didn't think I would be agreeing with the haters on this game but I definitely don't like it. If I wanted to play Battlefield, I would play Battlefield and that's what I think they've "tried" to do.

Maps that are entirely too big, game play mechanics, ultra long range sniping campers, destructible environments, etc. These are just a few features that I feel like this version directly copied from Battlefield.

On a different note, I do like Squads.

Battlefield gameplay is more organized and "tactical"... you spawn here and attack there. The vehicles justify huge open maps and keep "camping" down.

Ghosts maps are large for COD, but way too cluttered and spawns way too random. It still leads to random run and gun kill then instantly get killed gameplay (aka it sucks ass). I haven't seen the token "destructible environments" since I'm on the Xbox 360 Ghosts, but I assume its a gimmick and doesn't change much.

I've always preferred COD for shooting gun to gun because Quake 3 at 60fps > Frostbite shit with input lag at 25 fps. Given COD's increase in aim assist since Black Ops, and Xbox One being able to run Battlefield at a respectable framerate, I may have to switch. Frostbite still fucking sucks though.

Actually it is. It's true in BF, and in IRL. Tanks clear out entrenched enemies.

You need big maps if you are going to have fighterjets and helicopters in the game.

BF4 is just superior end of discussion. Ghost is a wannabe battlefield. They copied BF4, made super shitty maps, didn't add vehicles, worst spawn system ever (I don't know how this game made it through QA with those spawns/ its the same game every year so how does it get worse?), perk system overly complex, guns suck, killstreaks are boring. I could keep going but you get the picture.

I think most people ITT would agree that Ghosts is one of the worst CODs. It is uncompetitive and poorly designed.... as a result I personally don't enjoy it, but I understand others may.

If you enjoy shooting someone in the back, then getting shot in the back, and perpetually going 1-1, then this game is made for you. If you have fun playing it, good for you, it was designed for casual players. Just don't try and say this game isn't bad... because it is.

Well, if you know how to use the perk system you can avoid that for the most part, but you must still stay vigilant in watching your back! Amplify with surround sound, and Ping are the best two perks in the game.

None of my COD friends are playing this game (I'm talking guys who are 10th/20th prestige in all CODs). When you produce a game that makes your hardcore followers quit there is a serious issue. Of course Activision doesn't really understand because we all pre-ordered this game. The next Black-ops game will see a sharp decline in sales.

4 perk slots used for you to even have a chance at not getting spawn raped. Now what about the other 30 perks you never get to use because the game has a design flaw. Big maps, compensated by having people spawn on top of each other. Not one map has a solid location where you can count on their being a non-stop fight (Not counting maps that manufacture it with terrible spawns STONEHAVEN). I was 20th prestige at MW3, I sold this crap after 1 prestige. I honestly hope for the sake of the fanboys they patch and release some good maps in DLC, but judging by the bonus map GOOD LUCK

I've used dead silence and the 5.1 surround for all CODs... I know how the game works. My point is you shouldn't have to sound camp so hard in a game to avoid getting shot in the back. It's just bad design and bad gameplay.

It is the same reason I hated black Ops... the game forces you to camp. Camo and radar are not properly balanced, and motion sensor is stationary (compared to mobile heartbeat sensor) = camp camp camp camp.

(Gee whiz I haven't liked Call of Duty since the days of posting up in The Office on Skidrow, I think I will buy Ghosts) When you pay money for a product you don't like, it only encourages the company to produce more of the same product you do not like.

Go play games you like. You did this to yourself by not leaving sooner.


That being said I will keep playing because I don't consider it essential that every game I buy be the best game ever made. When I get bored of it, I will go play Ryse.

I like this one a lot, its a lot more fun and strategic. If they just fix the spawns (which I assume will happen) it will be great. I'm going like +10 almost every match with the basic Covert Ops or close quarters load out.

the map with the parking lot and flooded areas is a good map layout.

Strategic == Camping

This game caters to a certain kind of player (I call them scrubs). I play BF4 and I'm terrible at it, but atleast I know its because I cant fly the heli and have terrible guns. In COD the game equalizes competition, not skill.
