Downing was very good in the second half of the season. He would have been very capable as somebody off the bench that can play on the wing and/or LB so it seems silly to sell him for peanuts.

I already told you, but you are too busy wishfully hating to actually read something. Paulinho was bought with the TV money for this year and Joe Lewis granted the club an interest free 50M loan to propel the club into the CL spots.

Capoue was a wash with the Caulker money.

There is going to be a butthurt overload in this forum when Bale is in a Spurs shirt this season. He isn't a foregone conclusion like Suarez.

Funny part will be when Pool takes less money to send him to Madrid after they figure out Bale is a lost cause fucking Arse that much more.

Arsenal made a bid for Luis Suarez. That's it. They didn't go public with it and they didn't even talk to the media about it until yesterday. But you have John Henry tweeting the day of the bid asking "what they are smoking" over there and Brendan Rodgers talking about it every day for two weeks and calling Arsenal classless for some unknown reason.

Now we have John Henry saying he is so furious at Arsenal that he will "never sell him there."

What the fuck is going on? Maybe Wenger needs that good shit being tossed around at Anfield.

(and yes, if we don't get Suarez, missing Europa League is very much on the table -- sixth or seventh place)
