Miami is releasing LeBron to pick up Leslie, Howell is the Utah Jazz (only player on the team)

http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballnation/post/_/id/85899/right-call-10-undrafted-players

Quote :
"C.J. Leslie (NC State) -- After leading his team to the Sweet 16 in 2012, Leslie appeared to be a lock for the first round of that summer’s NBA draft. He decided to return for his junior season, and his numbers were similar to his stats from the previous year (15.1 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 1.2 BPG, 1.0 SPG). He scored 20 points (8-for-12) in NC State’s Round of 64 loss to Temple in the NCAA tournament in March. Maybe another year would have allowed Leslie to add some muscle to his frame, squash concerns about his leadership ability and prove that he can be a high energy guy every night. Still, many players were picked who lack his upside. This is stunning. "

leslie and kabongo (i really wanted him on unc, he def can make nba) were the shockers, were all the scouts in europe this yr? all these unknown world guys popping up and none of the analysts really had much positive to say about them

I just realized this entire thing is because of this huge stretch four craze, seems about as dumb as the wildcat thing in nfl

The theme of the draft was teams doing everything to avoid having a rookie (and their salary) on roster next year. Teams have quit on building through the draft, and are looking instead to clear clap space for max contract free agents or stashing players to develop in Europe.

The team most successful in building through first round draft picks couldn't keep them all and sent a top ten player to the Rockets...

To be fair they had every opportunity to keep harden. They are just stupid.

All they had to do was amnesty Perkins who is worthless or trade Westbrook who would be easy to move.
