Kemba is such an awful shooter this season.

looks like the Bobcats may have this one in hand finally! 6 pt lead with 7 seconds remaining in OT. Have held the Wizards scoreless for 4:53.

Bobcats own the 6 seed with 4 games remaining:

@ Boston
vs Philadelphia
@ Atlanta
vs Chicago

Wizards remaining schedule:

@ Orlando
vs Milwaukee
vs Miami
@ Boston

Cats are gonna need to go atleast 3-1 over the last 4, I think, to hold onto the 6 seed. Charlotte faces two playoff teams while Washington faces the three worst teams in the East. Need to handle business vs Boston and Philly while taking one of the two vs Chicago and Atlanta. Then hope that Washington loses to Miami.

I was not aware that Gerald Henderson played for the Bobcats.

I love that guy.

^wow...they changed the article then. There was an entire paragraph in the recap just after the game ended about how underwhelming the crowd was for a playoff team and how they were quiet for most of the night. Interesting.

now that the Heat and the Pacers both want to choke away the 1 seed I would rather not play either one as they are just coasting and then will get full form. Then again the 6 seed against Toronto isn't much better. Here's to the Heat making the 1 seed and the bobcats getting a for sure 6 just in case =)

I mentioned the crowd during the 3rd quarter. It was high school gym quiet and their team was rallying from a huge deficit at that moment.

Kemba Walker successfully prevented John Wall from scoring at the last moment in regular time.

Bobcats would win easily over Toronto. They swept them this season and the Raptors have no one to stop Big Al.

I remember when the Bobcats were 17-27 after Jefferson's slow start and injuries to MKG and Kemba. So they've won 23 of their last 34 games. They are playing like a playoff team, that's for sure.

Kemba and AL are the duo core right now.
I try to compare them with CP3 and Blake Griffin.

Kemba still can't shoot. He needs to get to 43-44% to be league average. Way too many of our possessions end with him jacking a contested fadeaway 20 footer.

But he made a crucial rainbow 3 pt shot last night at the biggest moment.
He definitely can shoot. Remember he's the MVP of 2011 UCONN champ team.

As bad as Kemba has been shooting, he's a hell of a lot better than Ridnour. They need him back for the last 3 games.

I know it's been asked before, but now that this "successful" season has nearly concluded was it really worth it? We brought in Big Al, played .500 ball and got into the bottom half of the weak eastern conference playoff picture. We have some solid players but no one who has any shot of taking us to the next level. We're unlikely to get that missing piece in free agency.

Is a first round playoff exit worth taking us out of the strong 2014 draft? After unintentionally tanking the last few years, why not do it for real this year? As it stands now, we'll lose our first round pick b/c of the terrible Tyrus Thomas trade. Detroit seems locked in to the #8 spot, so someone needs to get lucky in the lottery for us to get their pick this year. We'll get Portland's pick in the bottom of the 1st round, but that's where you find rotation guys, not stars.

So next year we'll likely be in the same situation, middle of a weak eastern conference, first round playoff fodder or lottery team with terrible odds. I'd rather bottom out and at least have hope of hitting it big in the lottery one of these years. I just don't understand the strategy.

Came back from down 13...got the lead...and then choke it away Thinking the 7 seed at this point against the Pacers isn't as bad as it seems...or the pacers could get fired up and whoop our ace... i'd still rather be 6 seed versus raptors.

only way we can rectify this situation is to beat the heat in the first round...seeing as that's who we are more than likely going to be facing.

They give this game as a gift to Washington, which means they think we are easier to be defeated.

Wow ... second huge game winner CDR has hit in the past month. Awesome game.

Still might get the 6th seed. We've gotta win and the Wiz have to lose, but we own the head to head.

CDR was WIDE OPEN off that curl.

I need to go back and look to see what happened there, but that's a great play call by Cliff and a great touch on the shot.

Please do us a solid Boston.

Bobcats should win Wednesday as I'm sure the Bulls are gonna rest their key players to stay the 4 seed & also receive a higher pick in the draft.

Can't tell if you're joking. Brooklyn is playing like a top 7 team in the league the past few months. No one would rather at them than Washington.

And the draft pick? It's probably the difference between 18 and 19, who gives a shit.

Looks like that loss to Boston is gonna fuck us. Let's just hope we don't get swept...again.

Listening to Jay Mohr talk, it's obvious that he's not seen us play even once this year, and is still under the impression that we're a 15 win team.

Mannix was on DP earlier however, and singled out this series as his most intriguing.
