So tickets for tonight are Session 4, right? That's for both our game and the Duke/Clem game. can you scalp your ticket after the state game or is it void after your entry?

Yes, tickets are for Session 4 (State/Cuse & Duke/Clemson). There's no reentry, so your ticket is voided once you enter for State/Cuse.

Trying to go but finding it hard to justify the ticket prices people already want for decent seats. Looks like 250 at least to sit lower level anywhere that isnt behind the basket. Debating if buying in parking lot will yield much of a discount. I assume we are gonna lose so not sure I wanna pay 250 to watch it happen haha.

I just wanna take this moment to say fuck fsu. 19 win team on the bubble? No good wins (they thought they were good, but turned out to be meh)and some bad losses. I have a hard time seeing how they are in a better position that the Pack or Clemson. What am I missing?

you have to look for people selling that aren't scalpers, (way best idea) but sometimes it cant be done

scalpers can tell if someone isn't a scalper, and they will convince them their ticket isn't worth shit, buy it cheap, and sell it to you for $texas

a lot of the regular people selling will try to get away from the crowd of scalpers, but beware, there are roaming scalpers as well

one way to possibly get a better deal is to turn a scalper down and keep looking (ie start to walk away), if demand isn't super high, he will try to bargain with you before you get away.

have bills folded a certain way in your pocket, that way, if he asks for say $100, you can pull out $80 and say its all you have, he may try to stick to 100, again, walk towards another scalper, he may try to keep you talking to him and only him

also, make sure you see the tickets, some people will sell tickets to a previous session, then disappear into the crowd quickly once they have your money

^^ Me either, I've been saying the same thing for weeks. Apparently wins over UMass and VCU in December are quality wins.

FSU isn't getting in, but their resume is definitely better. Wins vs VCU/UMass > @Tenn. No terrible losses to rival our losses to NC Central (likely tourney team as conf champ, but 15/16 seed) and Wake. Thier worst losses are Minnesota, Miami, Maryland and us. Head to head only goes so far.

We're not close to the bubble. We need to beat Syracuse AND Duke to get into the picture. Would have been a much different picture if we had finished against Syracuse and UNC...

NCCU isn't a bad loss. they are about the same RPI as miami, which puts them ahead of 5-6 ACC teams. any other year and it probably is a bad loss, but this year they're almost a top 100 team.

losing at wake and getting our asses handed to us at home against miami are worse.

yeah, taking care of business and avoiding bad losses goes a long way. You should be able to get a 10/11 seed by winning 24 games and 11 in acc play. Also, they had a number of heart breaking losses, not sure if that gets factored in. Ennis's 35 ft prayer comes to mind.

^ I know NC Central dominated their weak conference, but any home loss against a MEAC team is a bad loss for an ACC-team NCAA tournament contender.

Quality of play in this first game is already miles ahead of anything being played yesterday. Hope our guys are ready to step up.

I don't think the ACC is quite as down as everyone says but the resumes for our middle squads are definitely not as good as other leagues.

But you also have to look at how terrible the bottoms of some of the other leagues are too.

TCU didn't win a game in the Big 12.
Bottom of the PAC-12 is bad and the OOC for those teams is hilariously weak.
SEC is a train wreck on the bottom.
B1G looks good on paper but every tourney they lose so many teams in the first round.

While VT and BC were bad I don't think they compare so much worse with the bottom of the other leagues.

a 10 pt home loss in november isn't nearly as bad to me as a 15 pt home loss in march. according to cbssports.com, NCCU is #107, while Miami is #110. So we actually had 2 losses worse than NCCU, since we lost to fucking WF.

i don't really expect us to make the tournament, but don't act like losing to central is the reason why.
0-6 vs top 25 is what will do us in.

I wonder if the fans from Syracuse, Pittsburgh, and Notre Dame now watching the ACC tournament see the Bojangles sponsor plugs and think "What in the goddamn fuck is a Bojangles?"

Exactly what I was thinking. Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that UNC will end up winning this game? It's a foregone conclusion in my book.

UNC has lost this game.

They resorted to a 3-2 zone.

Throw in the towel.

Doesn't it boost our chances of dancing if Pitt loses? UNC is in for sure, a loss might hurt their seeding by 1 or 2 spots but Pitt losing gives us a better chance for a spot.
