^ How do you know it is not in the ocean? Do you have any idea of the scale of areas and volumes involved in searching even a small patch of any ocean?

Terrorism? Where is it? Did it land at a proper airport? That's impossible. So it landed on an empty highway or in a grassy field? Pretty sure the country's radar would have seen it, or at least some eye witnesses in nearby cities. Or maybe it landed on some remote uninhibited island?
