^^^ no. My explanation is it just didnt work out. I'm not blaming him, the manager or the club. It just didn't work out.

^ ok I can agree with that. Clearly Di Maria isn't happy being here and somehow I suspect he probably never was to begin with. If PSG didn't have the FFP penalties last year he probably ends up there.

I don't even care that he has left, it is the way he did it. A month ago he was saying how excited he was to get back to United and fight for his place. There was no reason to say that and then force a move away.

My official 2015-2016 Predictions:

1. Chelsea (comfortable again)
2. Manchester United
3. Arsenal
4. Manchester City
5. Liverpool

I think Bournemouth will be a good promoted team. I think Aston Villa will get relegated.

1. Chelsea
2. Arsenal
3. Manchester United
4. Manchester City
5. Liverpool

I think 12 points will separate 1 - 5. Don't believe Chelsea will walk it again. From what I can see the mid-table teams have gotten better with the TV money and will give the top teams a real fight this year. Chelsea is resting on their laurels a little bit if you ask me. I don't think they will get the same kind of production out of John Terry and that defense again.

I honestly think the only two teams that I can comfortably see finishing in the top 4 are Chelsea and Arsenal. There is too much uncertainty with United, City, and Liverpool to predict where they finish. All depends on how the new signings will do for United and Liverpool really.

That list is taller than him

The DDG saga is going to cost United points and possible CL group stage. It will be squeaky bum time for me until sept. 1.

So immensely talented but at this point he is falling in to the Diaby category. Honestly he probably isn't close to first team in this squad anyway but obviously a huge loss..

Incoming shock but I agree almost entirely with wazza31. I do think, with some luck, Arsenal could win the title for the first time in ages... And they would be my favorites if retarded Perez wants a new toy (Reus?) and sells Benzema.

If Liverpool settled well I can see them pipping City to fourth. Their aging midfield and defense is going to kill them.

Bad news on De Gea but if Van Gaal has doubts about his mindset he should have been sold. There is no point in keeping De Gea if LVG doesn't feel he has done enough.

The fault is also with Madrid and their absolute disrespectful offer for one of the best keepers in the world. If Madrid had forked up 30 million quid I can see De Gea already there right now.

I am glad we have let Madrid drag this out. I hope it continues till deadline day. Best would be to just go ahead and buy Leno. De Gea is gone either this year or next year anyway.

well I mean he is the best goalkeeper in the league? Tell Real to fuck off and keep him. I thought that's what big clubs did.

When I say done enough I mean mentally. If LVG believes De Gea can't get the job done because his heart is in Madrid then let him go as long as Madrid are willing to pay the right price. If LVG thinks De Gea can still perform at his best if he is at United then he needs to play him, there was no reason to air this out publicly either.

To me it seems like De Gea has either said something and now its up to Woodward to negotiate. However as a professional De Gea also needs to understand if Madrid continue to disrespect United with their low ball offers then he is going to have to suck it up and wait for another year. I would absolutely be disappointed if we let him go for anything under 28 million.

I mean, he's a professional.

Until Real make a bid worth considering, play him and enjoy the best GK in the league while you can. I don't put much stock into this "your heart isn't in it" or whatever bullshit.

^ That is what I am saying though. LVG should play him if he wants to keep him. What is the point of benching him? More importantly what is the point of saying it in the press? LVG fucked up here.

shit, my bad. I overlooked that part where you said LVG needed to play him.

I think it's stupid from a negotiating tactic to do this too. You're basically admitting to Real that they'll get him eventually if you're willing to bench him in the first game of the season.

I don't know what the fuck LVG is doing with the GK position. We had a capable replacement in Valdes for a at least another year till we have time to scout a better GK but LVG massively fell out with him too. Its stupid.

Oh well. I hope we play Sam Johnstone. At least give the academy kid a shot at it. I hope to god it isn't Romero, I really don't know why we signed him to begin with.

Less than 20 hours and I am buzzing. This season is going to be epic I think. If United's signings gel then it could very easily be a 3-4 team title race in May. The more I think about it I really don't see Chelsea walking it at all. They are seriously resting on their laurels and haven't improved at all. In fact that defense is a year older. I really hope they don't end up getting John Stones.

I just hope the pendulum swings the other way on the last day this time and its Rooney netting a title winning goal in the 90th minute. My heart probably couldn't handle it but if I survive that my liver will surely be the one to kill me.

You may be downplaying how hard it can be to integrate so many new players into a team at once. Just look around the last few years at the overhauls at other clubs and how they struggled through the winter. They won't be hitting on all cylinders for months most likely.

I feel pretty fortunate to get Man U away early for that reason.

Tomorrow's squad is likely only going to contain 3 new players. All three in positions of need. Darmian, Schniederlin, and Depay. I agree that it will be tough to bed in new players but really we just need Darmian and Schnierdlin to play well consistently to improve two of the biggest weaknesses.

I don't anticipate Basti needing too much time to adapt to LVG and I can see Depay being frustrating but we have Januzaj, Wilson, and maybe Pedro if he comes to cover.

I am certainly nervous but its at Old Trafford and well, its tottenham lads.

Not the most impressive performance but 3 points nonetheless. Darmian looks class and Chris Smaldini continuing where he left off next year. Romero played better than expected. Rooney needs to get his match sharpness back but he is usually slow to start anyway.

The Bournemouth game?

I think it's because the lower angle and the sun glaring off the grass isn't helping. You can barely see the mid line and circle.

Yeah I was thinking the camera was pretty bad. I think it's because the stadium is so small they can't get a good angle.

I'm so happy to see that news about NBC. I think they've done a terrific job so far and I really believe they're committed to promoting and growing the game here. The Live Extra app his been awesome for me when I'm not at home on the weekends too.

I agree NBC has done a great job. One complaint, well really two. Their app does not support chromecast, which they really do need to fix. They also should provide a stand alone subscription to the EPL. I am willing to pay up to $150 per year for all matches. Shit I would even pay up to $15 per month for access to it.

Chromecast would be nice. I do use the Apple TV app occasionally but I usually just watch on my ipad.
