l freeman saw a drive coming and stood there to try and time the block at the rim instead of moving his feet to meet the guy away from the basket. this is something i've seen from our team all year. you can't expect to win games at this level when you have players who don't know basic defensive fundamentals.

i think people have confused bad offense from teams like syracuse as our defense playing well. we were never good at defense. we aren't inconsistent, we just suck on defense.

we are very consistent and will beat our average.

I don’t think this is a secret e man. Our D has thrived on forcing turnovers. Otherwise, we haven’t gotten many stops all year. That’s not new and most people recognize it.
