Down 9.8 points with Westbrook and Akers to play against McNabb; If I lose it will be the 3rd straight year I lose in the 1st round of the playoffs

I was #1 seed in two leagues, lost in first round in one to a 1-12 team and now am losing in the first week of a championship 152-85 with Westbrook to go.....his 152 is league high for the year and he still has Donovan to go. My 85 is my season low too....

So I missed the playoffs in my league by 1 game so I've become the waiver guru, haha.

Last week my suggestions were:
TE - Carlson
D/ST - Indy

This week my suggestions were:
QB - T. Jackson
RB - K. Faulk

Next week is our championship so I don't know if I should recommend anyone to the top 2 teams, haha.

weird- i'm winning in my league 152-60 with his westbrook to go

this was the kind of performance i've been looking for from r moss, colston, and a johnson all season long.

^ I'm with you there about Colston, but Andre has been producing all year. He has had a few off weeks here and there (I trade for him before week three, so i missed two weeks of crap) but he has been outstanding for the majority of the season.

But yeah, it was definitely a good day. With the exception of Ronnie Brown sucking ass my guys all came up big. Johnson, Smitty, Colston, Jones Drew all performed exceptionally.

My team the past few weeks had been composed of big names who have underperformed, while the guys I trade for them have continued to do well. On paper my team looks loaded, but in reality since the point where I traded for them the guys I sent away have done better. Slaton for Ronnie Brown, Stewart/Grant for Jones Drew, Turner for Gore, etc

yeah that's more or less my angle. it's the first time the trio as a unit did what i was excited about them being able to do when i ended up with them before week 1

it's like the protagonists finally met up at the end up the story

Yeah I hear ya. I picked up Colston week 1 right after he went down and I've been waiting and waiting for him. Thankfully the rest of my team has been able to carry me despite his slacking. But the team I'm playing next week is pretty solid and I'm going to need some good performances.

Romeo Crennel must have something against me, throwing away under 2 minutes down by 20!?!?!?!?

you trying to get some kind of sad moral victory?? good god, almost gave me a heart attack!

I think i ended up winning by 5, and only b/c of cleveland's pick 6 and a couple dropped picks late. i go into tonight up by 23 with only philly D to go against me and friggin crennel and dorsey try to kill me!

Playing for the championship, 1 seed vs the 6 seed. I've beaten his team twice by a combined 78 points already so I should hopefully roll him again, but you never know. Hes averaging 130ish through the playoffs so his team is definitely doing better then it was the previous two times I played him.

So heres my question. Do I play a beat up Warner who has struggled recently or play Cassel vs the Cardinals who gave up 4 touchdowns to Tavaris Jackson. The game would be a must win situation for the Patriots whereas the Cards probably will shit on themselves again and lose. The only other time I played Cassel this season was week two and my only loss of the year. Also - Ronnie Brown @ KC or Frank Gore @ Stl? Both are nice matchups but with Gore's injuries I wonder how much time he will get. I could play both of them and bench Jones-Drew instead... but I'm leaning against that.

cassell and brown.

Colston at Det
Calvin Johnson at NO
Wayne at Jac
Smitty at NYG
Royal at Buff

pick 3...

im leaning towards colston, smitty, and royal(im in a return league, so return yards are great)

^^ As much as I would love to play smitty (well, I don't really have any alternatives, so I am), I have a feeling he might be in for a let down. The giants have a pretty solid d and Wayne might be a better alternative.

wow. in my league at work (8 man league) i just beat a guy 172 to 52.

and the crazy thing is i had philip rivers, ryan grant, dwayne bowe, reggie bush, antonio bryant, and marques colston all on my bench. they got me 108 points

i didn't even think a score like that was possible. if only all of my fantasy teams were like this

Still torn between Cassel or Warner. Arizona has allowed the most passing TDs (31), NE has allowed the second most (25). Warner has been far more consistent all season but Cassel has had some huge games. Over the last three weeks Warner has outscored Cassel by 4 points in my league (Interceptions are -1, TD's 4).

Ugh.

how is portis gonna be this week?

are they gonna give me more opportunities?

i have ricky williams and cedric benson in the wings (benson doubled portis's numbers last week)... it is just so hard to bench portis- it's like trying to bench Peyton

^I'm starting Portis, he had good yards just no TDs last week.

Addai tonight @ JAC, Tatum Bell vs BUF, or McFadden vs HOU? Non-PPR league

that's tough

you gotta worry about fargas with mccy

and you gotta worry about young and that kid they brought up from the practice squad with bell

and addai, well he's just addai, and you gotta worry about him splitting carries too-

personally, i think bell has a better chance of getting the ball within 10, but i feel like addai will have a better chance breaking it- that is a tough decision

Yeah well I have Tashard Choice too but I think he does nothing this week. I am actually leaning McFadden.

Romo or Schaub at QB, Witten at TE, Cowboys D, Randy Moss, Colston, Andre at WR, and Welker at flex, Akers at K.....I am loaded everywhere but RB

deangelo williams, ryan grant, chris johnson, and clinton portis.

pick two.

leaning williams and grant. (johnson vs pitt is terrible, and portis hasn't done shit in 7 weeks)
