yeh it was a pretty good game. Glennon was sloppy with his passes, and got stopped on 4th and 1 with about 1 minute to go in the game on the 20 something yard line to end the game.

Hunter, the RB for UNC has 98 speed so when he hit the edge I didn't have anyone to keep up with him. Contained him pretty well in the first half, but he got outside a couple times in the second half.

First half was defense, second half offense. Overall pretty close though.

I want to start mixing in a read option in my State dynasty (on Heisman). I have the speed at QB/HB for that, but can't get it without using a WVU-like playbook as a whole...

The #11 Cavaliers survive a scare in College Park and walk away with a 24-20 victory over the Terps. UVA trailed most of the game but took the lead on a 28yd td pass with ~1min left in the game. A late int by the Cavs with :23 sec left sealed the game and prevented an upset. The Cavs move to 5-0 overall(3-0 in conference) and looks to break the top 10 with this win. Next week brings an OOC matchup as a struggling Vandy team makes the trip to Charlottesville.

oh yeah, i never said it but Good Game Stix. My passing game compared to last season is just stupid. I can't do anything in the passing department. luckily, Hunter, my freshman RB, is a fucking bullet. I think it was twice that i called Sweeps out of the Twin-I Formation and you were in man so there was no QB to contain on the weakside which pretty much left my 98 speed RB against Brandon Barnes. My O-Line is pretty decent at Run Blocking as well.

Clemson loses a heartbreaker in the rain to WF 24-21.

Korn throws 3 picks and the only time the defense could be dominant was when Riley Skinner was injured for 1 or 2 series.

I get army next week after 3 straight atlantic division games so it's time to get the kinks out because it looks again like the game against FSU will decide the atlantic... maybe. God dammit of course South Carolina is #2 in the nation wtf?

not really, running to the sidelines on every passing play generally goes against fairplay rules. its not something a standard QB does in a game so its generally not allowed, of course designed rollouts, and the occasional play in that manner doesn't count

i'm just stating my opinion in the matter. it doesn't matter to me if the winner or loser did it

what i see in this conversation is that Apoc hasn't denied running his QB straight to the sideline every play. Ask ANYONE that plays this game straight online and they'll tell you its straight up cheese and they'll never play your ass again. You shut down my running game.....yea, i had 11 carries because you held the ball for around 14 minutes of the game because of your "lemme run it to the sideline and dink it off for 5-10 yds" every play. Don't gimme that. 9 out of my 11 runs were dives or isos

Russel Wilson runs straight towards the sideline every play. There are several contain plays where the des wait on the outside to rush the qb. There are also several ways to have spies and corner blitzes or just drop 8 and let the qb roll as he pleases. If you can't mix it up you deserve to lose. The main cheese in this game is screens. I don't even throw them because they are gay in this game.

Just wanted to come in here and back this up...

The two times that he burned me to the outside were like the only two times in the game I didn't run a CB Blitz, besides even with those two medium distance runs, he still only won by a TD. It wasn't that, that caused me to lose, it was not converting a fourth and 1.

Just so you know wolfpack..I was going to go for 2 if I had gotten a TD. Had pretty much already decided.

NC State goes into South Florida and is lucky to escape with a 17-7 victory over the Bulls. Grothe threw two interceptions in the end zone and White secured the game with a late 4th and 1 conversion to pretty much run the clock down for the last field goal.

South Florida's offense was unable to score as their only points came on a 20ish yard interception return. Glennon was sloppy again, but those are the things you expect from a freshman. State travels back to Raleigh to face Maryland next week.

I think the only game left is Halo and iceman.

FSU narrowly escapes Lane Stadium with a last second 21 yard field goal to win 24-21. Ponder completed a 57 yard pass to setup the game winning field goal. Ponder finished with over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. FSU's defense rose up when needed with an 8 yard sack late in the game to put VT into 3rd and long and then forced a punt to setup the game winning drive.

The cavalier offense sputters but UVA survives on a last second field goal to win 20-17. Lalich was 9/15 for 169yds and 2 TD. An early 2nd quarter int by the Cav defense was the difference maker. Al Groh wasn't satisfied with his team struggling against an inferior opponent and hopes the upcoming bye week would help them get back on track before traveling to Chapel Hill to face Coastal Division rival Carolina.

FSU moves to 5-0 by sneaking by Wake Forest, 21-14, on Thursday night football. Ponder had another good game, throwing for over 200 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was forced out of the game late in the third but came back to play the 4th quarter. Rolle made a huge play late in the 4th with an interception in the end zone with only 2:43 to go all but ending Wake's hopes at tying the game, the FSU offense was then able to make two first downs prior to running out the clock.

Next week #12 Miami heads to Tallahasse to meet the undefeated Seminoles. Wake Forest travels to Boston College for their fifth ACC game this season.

^good game. You were definitely better, but I felt like I had a chance throughout the game. I'm happy to come away 1-1 against Clemson and FSU, though.

With that said, I NEED to do some recruiting. My team is SO SLOW in every single aspect. Defensively, it's horrible. If anyone gets on the opposing team gets a step, it's over. So far, I'm 1-4, but haven't lost a game by more than seven points. Got a long ways to go.
