haha yea that is very true. I suppose I need to revise my statement considering we are matched up with Germany's group.

I'll retract my previous statement and change it to: If we were matched up with any other group I would say that I hate seeing a team lose this kind of game. But if it sets us up with a more reasonable 2nd round game I'll take it. However...

What I am worried about though is having something silly like Germany place 2nd in their group and have us win our group and this loss could cause that.

It shouldn't have even been a tie.

Regardless of Podolski fucking up, the entire game changed once that ref started throwing out cards like candy and sending off Klose.

The ref shouldn't have a tremendous effect on the outcome of the game at all.

Germany was still controlling it despite that, but they had to deal with playing a man down for 60 fucking minutes and worrying if the next challenge was going to add onto their eight fucking yellow cards.

Fuck this ref.
