Poor Maggie. Previews show her locked up in a holding room, and in comes the Governor. This has bad news written all over it. Glenn to the rescue? I am afraid not, since previews show him pretty jacked up by Merle.

i'm fully expecting that at least 1 of them doesn't make it out of there alive. we already know the show is going to keep killing off main characters and bringing in new ones so it's only a matter of time until another one goes. i just don't know which one; i can make the argument for either one to kill off/keep around.

Im thinking the Governor will do some crazy shit like cut off Glen's hand/foot/etc or some similar shit, or have it be Merle's idea for revenge

and then Rick and Co. come in and rescue them, while causing considerable damage to woodbury, and on the way out, Darryl and Merle stare at each other from a distance before Darryl walks away

then the thugs ask the Governor what to do, and he says something like "hunt those fuckers down"

roll credits, wait till Feb

I have feeling they both will survive, but really put through the ringer via torture or whatever else. I am still sticking to my original vote that Andrea will kill the Governor. I think she will be faced with the decision to kill either The Governor or Rick, and chooses to kill the Governor. I think Daryl will be confronted with the choice to kill Merle or Michonne, and kills Merle. Maybe for once, only the bad guys will die. I would hate to see the Governor kill Daryl, Merle freak out and kill the Governor, and Andrea kill Merle for killing the Governor. Maybe Carl will just step in and kill everyone himself, because you know, he is a bad ass for shooting his mom in the face.

I'd like to see Daryl shoot Chris Hardwick with arrows to his arms and legs, Michonne come in and decapitate him, the Governor put his head in formaldehyde, then all the good guys and bad guys have a rockin rap party in the Governor's head room while laughing at Hardwick's head and tweeting about it

So last episode, why did Rick go crazy on that one zombie in the phone room? I guessed it had eaten some of Lori's body, but where was the rest?

That question is so 2000-and-lastweek

But for reals, no body knows. We are suppose to accept the assumption that the zombie ate 100% of Lori, minus some blood left on the floor. It dumb, we all know that, but that's what the producers said.

I read a review in which the author suggested that Rick wasn't stabbing the zombie so much as he was stabbing "Lori" (or what was left of her). Interesting take considering that aside from the shot that killed it, he didn't stab it or harm it anywhere else. He also did not cut it open to get her out or dig out the wedding ring or anything.

But she's definitely dead. I think the lack of bones or clothes was more of an oversight or they just didn't want to show it.

^ and ^^

maybe he was mad that he was left behind with unresolved marital issues, a developing son, and a newborn.

At first I thought he was stabbing him because he thought he had eaten her, which is still a possibility in my mind, but now with all of his recent mental issues I wonder if he was hallucinating.

^^that was one of my first thoughts actually, but then i dismissed it

^and that's along the lines of why i thought he might want to stab her.

i thought I remembered seeing something in the shadows that looked like a lump of bones or something, and I know someone who went back and watched it and said they saw it too.

In the scene where Daryl killed the zombie in the jail cell, there was a knife sticking out of the zombie.. Daryl grabbed it and said, "this is lori's knife"

Was that supposed to make us think she may still be alive and trying to fight off zombies? Or it just made him think of Lori?

Once they finish this Walking Dead series, they should do a spin-off of a group of survivors from a different part of the country. That way, they would have no comic to go off of, and could go in any direction they wanted to (although they still could now, but you have fanboys that keep hearkening back to the comics).

I kinda miss the urban episodes from Atlanta.

^It would be like RE 5. All the zombies would be black and people would call it racist.

How bout The Walking Dead: NYC

You know all the apocalyptic zombie movies, and this show, always focus on the disaster, but for once, I would like to see a movie that actually takes place at the end of the disaster, and documents a new country/government/civilization being formed.

But I digress. I feel for Maggie. Hope they don't kill her off too soon.

^so you mean a story like WWZ? Yea I heard they were going to make a movie on that book, but then didn't.

The Day of the Dead was slightly more post-outbreak. They had a fortified city, zombie fights for entertainment, etc.

So Michone just hides behind a van and watches Glen and Maggie get taken by a guy she is trying to kill. She could easily crept up behind Merle and killed him. Thought she was supposed to be ruthless, instead she pusses out? Then goes to the jail anyway and is all "we have to rescue these guys because I'm a lazy bitch and am the reason they were caught in the first place." Also, Maggie is fucked.

At least this show is more realistic than Homeland

^4... No. He came up from the far side when he initially encountered them. But when he had Maggie at gunpoint, his back was to Michonne and he was on the ground. She definitely had an advantage. She could have come up behind him and simply but the sword to his throat. Glenn would have seen her coming, so it would have been crucial that he not react... but she could have done something.

^3 you are clearly paying much more attention than everyone else.

She also had a bullet hole in her thigh and a significant amount of ground to cover to get to Merle. And I don't see why she would decide to risk her life by bringing a sword to a gun fight to save two strangers.

Exactly, she doesn't trust anyone, why should she take the risk to save two people she doesn't know? And I'd have to think that Merle would notice Glenn reacting at Michonne. And Glenn doesn't know her, he'd probably be scared of black dreaded chick with a samuarai sword approaching them. She could just as easily put the sword through Merle's and Maggie's back.

there's plenty of reasons Michonne didn't come to the rescue of Maggie and Glenn.

I wasn't watching that closely...what was the deal with the cabin guy? He acted like he had no idea what was going on (zombie apocalypse). He was saying he was gonna call the cops or something. Clearly he lived off the grid and was isolated, but I still feel like he'd come across walkers. Hell, it's been something like 10 months. Surely he couldn't have been that isolated.

[Edited on November 25, 2012 at 11:04 PM. Reason : Or maybe I just misunderstood the whole scene. Like I said I wasnt watchin very closely at the time]
