Good job refereeing so far. Not an easy one to call. Both of the tackles that got booked were borderline but you don't want to send off players unless you have to in a game like this.

This game couldn't be going more perfectly. LFC up 2-0 at the break, Rooney seemingly invisible and Nani off with an injury.

so here's the only 2 plausible scenarios for Nani's behavior for me:



1. He's acting out because he gave up that goal, and is faking an injury because he is filled with shame


2. He is legitimately hurt, knew how bad he was hurt, and managed to somehow have enough adrenaline in his system to go apeshit when he saw it was only a yellow and then realized how bad he really was hurt and went down




I'd like to say it's #2.... but my first thought is that it's #1.
