I honestly know nothing about him. Why did he go from BM to BL to Liverpool so quickly? That's a lot of movement in a short period.

I saw him play a few times in the CL for Leverkusen but nothing stood out. He's not going to be a contributor next year in the Prem but he was compared to a Ballack type player in Germany.

Obviously has potential but it's more of a looking towards life after Gerrard.

** and Bayern HAD a buy back clause with Leverkusen so I assume it still exists when he gets sold on.

Honestly don't know much about him either aside from his GOALS & SKILLS VIDEOS on youtube. Think he just wasn't getting into Bayern's first team (understandably) so they sold him with a buy-back clause. Apparently they wanted him back but Liverpool got in first.

From what I can tell, he likes to dribble. That's all I know.

Disagree. He's a Coutinho type signing. Obvious quality but not quite regular first team quality. LFC isn't lacking in first team quality at this point anyway. This is cover for Gerrard, Allen, Henderson and maybe even the center backs with an eye on a long term regular position as well. Great business IMO if he can progress like most of BR's "major" signings have done.
