it was sweet - but that's to be expected with pumpkin puree and cinnamon in it!

next time i make it i'm going to use less pumpkin, because i have a feeling it'll be TOO sweet tonight for leftovers. a little sweet is good, but it was bordering on "too sweet" yesterday straight out of the crock pot.

i say, make it exactly according to the recipe and see how it turns out. i may or may not have measured my spices...and i had a bigger can of pumpkin than it called for, so i just measured with my eyes.

i'm guessing that has something to do with the sweetness i just hate measuring stuff. i like being able to just throw stuff in by sight and have it come out gooooooooood

no because i used canned tomatoes and that has sugar and bunch of other crap in it. the secret is my awesomeness.
