I'm not mad about this loss. Even though the ref was poor, he didn't decide the game. United just got outplayed today, and I can deal with that. What I can't deal with is referees handing a game to a team. That is absolute bullshit.

Well look at it objectively.




Two completely different games - one was tight and too close to call, but decisions from the referee tipped it one way

the other was not tight at all, and the referee made a few bad decisions but it didn't affect the game one way or the other

This. Mexico is not nearly as good as Man U though. US is generally pretty good at shutting down the Mexico midfield. We'll continue losing away games though.

You can't complain about the refs in every game though. I would expect someone who knows the game as well as you do to realize that sometimes the calls go your way and sometimes they don't. Because referees are human. But in the end they balance out and more times than not they don't affect the final outcome of the game (like today). It's just that you remember the times when they do change the outcome the most.
