that guy's descriptions sound better than the screenshots look. I mean they look fine but nothing really stands out too much. These are scans though, so it's likely not doing them justice.

We'll see what happens, I hope it is good - just for the life of god devs pls to put COLOR in this one. Resistance 1 looked flat, drab, and lifeless. They have alot to prove but the 6 player co-op if true is a great step forward.

Really? I thought it was as vanilla as a FPS as it comes. An uninspired jaunt of puke washed out colors and bland textures in which is an overpopulated landscape of alien invasion themed FPS shooters that well, are frankly better than it. But that's my pretty fierce opinion....check my posts, I'm pretty unforgiving of the game.
Those aliens look like rips of Stroggs too.

yeah,the scans don't look all that great but I'm glad a developer is finally trying to make progress in the gameplay department rather than just making the sequel look prettier.

If everything mentioned is included, it should be completely badass.

watching my very first DVD in the PS3. This thing upscales like a mofo. I can almost not tell the difference between a DVD and BD. Although cartoon drawings look pixelated around the edges but movies look fantastic.

still don't get all the hate on Resistance. The dark colors of that game were meant to be that way. That said, the game was definitely rushed which is why I think the story was so lacking. I think Insomniac did a hell of a job putting that game out thought for launch.

The new one will add a whole lot of story I think and they will build on the gameplay big time. You just have to look at what Insomniac has accomplished so far, pretty amazing.

^ NHL08 got a slightly better review. I wanted 2k8 but my wife bought NHL08 by accident for me. Its really great for the gameplay and graphics... took me a long time to get used to playing pretty much with just the L3, R3 and R2 buttons... You wont be scoring 9 goals like 2k7, that is for sure...

Sorry if this has been answered but, can I use my usb headset from my PS2? I know PS3 uses bluetooth but I also saw a usb headset for PS3 in Best Buy today. When I tried using mine with CoD4 it did not seem to work but I wanted to make sure before I bought a bluetooth set.
