It's not unprecedented. Ariana Jolie had a similar injury back in 2008 during a scene with Randy Spears and Erik Everhard. She was switching from a position of Spears ass/Everhard Mouth to Spears Pussy/Everhard ass when her knee slipped on the leather couch, slick with sweat and vaginal secretions. She slid off toward the outside of the sofa when his head slammed into Everhard's knee as he was transitioning from mouth to ass. She yelped in obvious pain, but trooper that she was, sucked it up and finished the scene. (Took a nice double creampie to boot). In the BTS you could see a dark purple mark and a raised welt similar to Joie's. I could envision a similar thing happening to her.

I am one of THE klutziest people I know. I fall up/down my stairwells at least once a week, fall/trip frequently at the gym, I even fell OUT of my car the other day.
