i'm less excited about watching this show now compared to first season.

Appartently, Michelle Rodriquez is a real piece of work on the set. She is very graphic in describing her sex life as "Bye guys I am goign to go blank a blank. She also likes hold up two fingers and put her tongue though it.

I know there's probably not much overlap of viewers of these two shows due to them being on at the same time, but tonight I watched Lost and DVRed Veronica Mars. At the end of tonight's Veronica Mars episode, Veronica has a fortune cookie and the lucky numbers at the bottom of it...yep, 4 8 15 16 23 42.
I actually laughed out loud when I saw that. 1/26/2006 7:00:24 AM |

k I know I quit this thread but this episode was crap.
They focused on one of the least cared about characters. Advanced his plot none, since we already KNOW his brother gets clean and back with this wife and kid.
We learn nothing more about anything that happened last week. Not even a hint about Michael or Walt or the fisherman.
I want to know what the deal was with the redish hued devil shot of locke after Claire was talking about getting her child baptized.
I serioulsy doubt charlie goes 'others' on the group. 1/26/2006 9:36:46 AM |

I tried to like this episode - I really did. Alas, Charlie is still annoying, I care nothing about his character (I cringe whenever they show him playing is guitar)...get rid of the hobbit for all I care, or at least make him more interesting. 1/26/2006 9:46:24 AM |

im still thinkin this is following 'the stand' like the producers suggested early on, and locke is evil head honcho vs jack good head honcho.
like iin the previews for next time where jack wants guns and locke has moved them.
charlie is definitely an outcast now, i dont see him rejoining the group.

Alright, that was 60 minutes of pure bullshit. There were only 3 good things that happened this episode:
- Locke bitchslapping Charlie - Sayid making an appearance - Libby washing her face
Also, what the hell got Locke's attention so strangly when he looked into his bag after talking to Claire? It was almost as if something else was there. Another thing, why is Locke keeping the Virgin Mary dolls, when it would be quicker and less painful to just destroy them?
Quote : | "Did you notice the washer/dryer. I swear its something like a GE inspiron or something like that. " |
Libby's character even commented on that.
Also, the Hurley-Libby scenes might have been the only interesting part of this episode. I bet Libby was a at the mental hospital where Hurley was a patient. He said he recognized her from somewhere.1/26/2006 10:53:42 AM |

charlie will do something heroic to regain favor with the group at large
me thinks that LOCKE is the snake in the grass/spy...
"One of Them": says the episode is about Sayid, but i bet that Locke does a turn and shows how he is siding with the others on the island, maybe he has a relative that is among them or something
back to Sayid: what the hell was he building in the jungle (the part where Charlie walks buy him, and tells him, 'not now' or something like that), it had metal and what looked like moving pieces, and we might have gotten another look at the contraption in the preview for the next episode.
Any ideas? 1/26/2006 11:00:31 AM |

Yeah, that's what i was thinking too, but why would he at that point?
Locke almost seems to be making a play to destroy him (keeping the statues, beating his ass in front of everyone, telling him to stay away from Claire). Locke has had several visions/dreams on the island, like the plane crash that led him to the plane that has since been the root of Charlie's problems, yet he refuses to even consider that Charlie's dreams might be legitimate.
Hell, when you think about it, Locke's character is developing towards a "bad guy". Going with the biblical allusions, he was cast out of his father's house, much like Satan. He is forever barred from re-entry by a gate keeper who never leaves his post and will never allow Locke to come in. Maybe that's a stretch, i dunno. When the plane crashed, he was given a new life, where he quickly began to take on followers and ultimately lead some to their demise (can't remember the guy's name who died at the plane for one, but he also is responsible for Charlie finding the heroin because he is the reason the plane is accessible). Now, he is turning Claire away from someone who truly cares for her and taking her under his wing.
Whatever it is, Locke's got an agenda, and i don't think it's altruistic. 1/26/2006 11:22:18 AM |

to ruin charlie if he ever needs to
notice for the second week in a row he has used something to pull in a character last week it was letting sawyer know he knows he isn't really "Sawyer" per se and this week he told charlie he wasn't going to let him make the decision of whether or not he is using if claire ever sides with charlie again, locke has the upper (or lower actually) hand in turning her again

She's a psychologist, right? Even if she isn't one of the others or some sinister shit like that, she might know Hurley from the psych hospital or something.
