In their last 10 meetings in the series, the home team is 7-3 ATS.
In their last 7 meetings in the series, WVU is 2-5 ATS.
In their last 5 meetings in their series, WVU is 1-4 ATS in Maryland.

Anybody know any potential legal ramifications or consequences from any of the online betting sites like bodog? I make all my bets offline but was thinking about signing up, but I don't really want to do it if its technically illegal or if you're supposed to pay taxes on winnings, etc...any advice aside from telling me to just bet in person cause thats what I do now but I'm curious about online betting

Online betting is just as illegal as offline betting pretty much unless we are in like las vegas or whatever. Ive never had any issues its just more of a pain in the ass to deposit/withdraw then it used to be.

Oh and as stated anyone who really uses trends like that to make bets is a fool for falling for it. Who the hell cares what happens in the past 10 years, turnover happens so much in sports you cant rely on most trends like that. If you look hard enough you can find a trend that supports your bet, but it means jack shit. I love when I see stuff like so and so is 8-2 ATS when playing a non conference opponent after a home win when favored by 3.5 or more points if the spread is between 10 and 21 points. I mean come on seriously if you look hard enough you will find some combination. Ignore almost every trend out there other than maybe how well a team plays at home and away, but thats about it.
