my brother just called me from AC
playing 2/4 NL i think
raised 10 bucks from first position with 8-8, one guy (we will call him douche) called, and the BB called
flop was like 3 8 J with 2 clubs
flopped a set, said douche had been playing like.. well.. a douche for the past hour or so, so he checked to him. douche bet out 20, brother pushed all in knowing he didnt have shit, BB folds, douche calls cause he's a douche
with 24o
hit the runner runner flush with his 4c
i would have choked the guy 11/26/2005 1:22:13 PM |

I saw one of the worst beats for the most money Ive seen ever last night on Full Tilt. Matusow was sitting at the $25/50 NL table, he had about $8400 in front of him. Guy to his right has around $5800. Matusow raises preflop to about $400. Guy to his right calls. Flop comes AJ7, Matusow leads out with $1500, guy reraises all in around $5400 more. Matusow sits there for a minute, and calls him with AK. Guy flops over JJ, so Matusow is pretty much fucked.....oh, but wait! The turn is a K, river is an A, and Matusow takes down the $10,000 pot. It was unreal. Im not saying its rigged, and the pros get the cards they need a lot, but damn, that is a pretty brutal way to lose a $10,000 pot. 11/27/2005 7:06:22 PM |

not bad, but probably dissapointing. He was by far the most aggro player at the final table.
ran into a 99 on the button, raised, got reraised and correctly pushed.
AJ picks up A on flop.
btw, if this ever happened to me at a final table of a massive tournament like this, id puke on the screen.

Finally, a good night at a home game.
buy in for 100, run up to 200, bust 120 on a AK vs AQ both pair ace on the flop situation vs a very very aggro player, bust on a tp with nut flush draw. rebuy for another 100, end up cashing out $550.
not bad.
Got into a pickle vs. fork girl that I dont know what the fuck happened.
I may post this hand tommorow or so to see how FeebleMinded and sNuwpack and you others would have handled it. (but i know ill get berated for my preflop play like crazy )
maybe playing loose as fuck in a weak passive home game is the way to go.

What is this "cash out restricted deposit bonus" i keep getting from party poker? I've had my account down to like $1 twice, and I'll just randomly have this deposit from party poker in it...so basically if you play enough and lose it all they'll pay for you to come back?
I've already refused to put any more money in online, I did that about 10 pages back, but twice they have given me $20 out of the blue. Which I can't complain about, haha. Just means I have more money to lose now, which is fine. But anyway, is this like a raked hand bonus or something? I don't really understand how they keep giving me this. 12/2/2005 9:01:24 AM |
