Jessica had some good boots, but I'm not a huge fan of her shoes.

The slutty:classy ratio is too off for me

I agree some of the platforms are slutty but I like the pumps. also there are a lot of shiny gray colored shoes, which tones down the sluttiness a bit.

I'm about to purchase SPANX

(hey, Jessica Alba does it...why can't I?? http://thesuperficial.com/2009/02/jessica_alba_admits_to_wearing.php)

do I want the POWER PANTY or the THIGH SHAPERS?! hahaha

I think prolly the power panty! but thigh shapers would be good for me too as I got some junk in my trunk and borderline saddlebags...love my curves, but takin' em in a notch wouldn't be terrible

anyone else made the plunge and bought spanx in their mid-20s??

I have like 8 pair.

Even some of the pantyhose and tights.

They're great....and I'd do the power panty! It shapes my butt too.

It's odd using the bathroom the first couple of times you wear them though

I have a pair of the ones that are like shorts that I wear when I want to make sure I don't get love handles or think about holding in my tummy. Shoot, no one can see it, and it shaves down a few inches, why the heck not? I like looking sleek. I did have a hard time finding ones that were small enough to actually do something, though.

could i get away with wearing the power panty without it cutting in to me and having a noticeable line? i'm wearing a black cocktail dress this weekend, and it's form fitting so that's why i've been leaning to the thigh shapers...less chance of having a line (maybe?)

^that's what i'm talkin' about!

Would you get pantie line with a regular pair? I would go with the thigh ones, as long as your dress is long enough to cover them.

I would do the higher power panty then

It goes up to your bra-line (yea I know) and stops mid thigh.

The plain power panty stops like mid tummy and will leave a line if your dress is form fitting.

I get mine at Norstrom.

They also sell them at Uniquities Mix in North Hills. Well the last time I was there, they had them.

But Nordstrom has the best selection. Stein Mart also sells them, but not the kind you want. I think they do the pantyhose.

no

1. Not much you can get away wearing it with.

2. They aren't cute

3. Why not buy a bootie that has he fold down flap? That shoe is confusing

4. Never buy shoes from hot topic ok?

Also there is no need to match your hot pink belt by wearing hot pink shoes...too much

Those are a lot better.

And GoldenGirl....Just so you know, I'm the chick that doesn't really own normal color heels. I have one black pair and one brown pair. All my others are fun colors/patterns. You just gotta know when to say no to some of that stuff.

I think they'd be cute with dark demin skirt/jeans and a black top. I've seen them rocked a lot in CA I guess its more a CA fashion thing then here. so i'm use to seeing them.

also from torrid. and no i don't shop them unless its for my shoes b/c i got big feet.

I just was iffy on the zebra detail, but i could rock them with my zebra top or dress.

Ok iff you rock them....DO NOT rock with anything else zebra.

Let that be your statement piece.

Wear some black and dark jeans or something.

For JCrew fans out there, right now at most of the Triangle area TJ Maxx stores, you can get their shoes for $19.99. These are shoes that are still on the website for close to $100. Sizes and styles have varied at the different stores. Some stores have JCrew formal wear for cheap too.
