"300" Workout

25x Pull-Ups(15-5-5) as fast as i could
50x 135lb Dead Lifts(30-20) as fast as i could
50x Push-Ups
50x Window Wipers 135lb (5x10)
50x 18" Box Jumps
50x Each Arm 35lb DB Clean & Jerk(25x2)
25x Pull-Ups(10-6-6-3)

Great workout, kept me breathing like a locomotive and I felt awesome doing all these nifty exercises...the window wipers got a bunch of looks. I was pouring sweat during the clean and jerks.

Added some more exercises to finish the day:

5x20 T-Stabilization Push-Ups
3x10 25lb Renegade Rows
5x60sec TVA Vacuums
30min HIIT

started my carb up after the workout...first time I've ate pizza in 3 months....Lily's was the right choice!

^when were you at the gym, were you at the rec center? Some guy was dressed up as the 'my new hair cut' douche and talking about the 300 work out.

Roommate and I did-

7x5 Flat Bench
7x4 Incline
7x4 Cable Fly's
7x4 Tricep pushdowns
7x4 Dips
7x3 Nose breakers

Then we had to stop because he like, broke his thumb or something. Good short workout.

not sure what i'm going to do, yet. my right knee pain has me a bit put off. I want to get back into my normal shit, or atleast some squats. It might be ready for lightwork.

We'll see....

^^ I was at the rec center but I don't talk to anybody nor do I look like the "my new haircut" guy

I was looking for a good all around full body exercise, the 300 seemed pretty unique and challenging so I gave it a shot...enjoyed it

I'm going to be trying a new routine why on my Keto diet

S-Full Body & 60min LISS
M-Full Body & 30min HIIT
T-Rest & 60min LISS
W-Back & 60min LISS
Th-Chest & 60min LISS
F-Legs-Begin Carbs & 30min HIIT
Sa-Rest-End Carbs & No Cardio

on a side note, for those with protein powder, mix ~5tbs unsweetened Heavy Cream with a scoop of your whey...I'm on the ON Cookies & Cream...the stuff tastes exactly like cake batter...loving it
26g fat, 2g carb, 24g protein

Only a sadist would think this is a good idea. following up leg day with carbs was enough by itself to make me sick to my stomach, and you want to add HIIT on top of that?

Overall, you appear to be doing entirely too much training on a cyclic ketogenic diet. have you ever ready Dan Duchaine's books on the diet or visited the ckd.com forums?

Haha, that's good. They haircut guy was obviously out of shape and was talking about how the 300 workout had kicked his ass. I was all no wonder. Does the Heavy Cream add the 26/2/24 to the shake? I'd be wondering if that's too much protein at once for a body to handle. With what I have right now its 43g protein with the shake alone.

i've been reading as much as i can from the keto subforums on bodybuilding.com

I'll have to check out those ckd.com forums though...yea..I did a HIIT day after legs last friday...it was pretty shitty...haven't cycled through this new routine yet, just began yesterday so I guess I can switch the hiit to weds? I was thinking i wanted full depletion by the time i carb up

you do, but there are much more effective ways to deplete yourself prior to carbing up. Follow the link above; Lyle McDonald is a hell of a lot better source than bodybuilding.com for cyclic ketogenic diets (or anything for that matter).

If you haven't had a chance to read any of Lyle McDonald or Dan Duchaine's books on the CKD diets, you should definitely try to do so.

^to add to that...the Ultimate Diet 2.0 pdf can easily be found online and is seriously the best CKD in my book...I'm 5 weeks in and my body fat % is already breaching single digit territory with only about 3lbs total lost...strength is up as well

so I joined PF for the 30day $3 trial to save on gas money driving to carmichael and back

dunno if I care for PF so far...the locker room was very nice, the cardio equipment all worked(i dislike their ellipticals), and the atmosphere was pretty chill

having no cage is really going to suck for leg days...I do not want to squat on a smith machine, nor lunge, nor shrug, nor rack pull, nor dead lift, nor shoulder press, nor decline bench. This one(behind carmax) also lacks a pull-up bar...they've got the pull-up machine, so it'll work, but that's the only one in the whole gym...am I supposed to put the smith machines at the highest setting and go from there? Everything else seemed adequate, they only had 1 flat/1 incline bench and the rest were smith machines....should be fine since I'd rather do DB for my presses.

/end rant

Anyways...epic fail while lifting...shoulda done alot more but I failed during my final set of flat and 3rd set of incline....did 2 drop sets to make up for it, but still irritating.

Chest:
5x5 Flat BB Bench(185-195-205-215-225(4)-135x10-135x10)
5x5 Flat DB Flies(35-40-45-50-55)
5x5 Incline BB Bench(165-175-185(4.9999)-135-135)
5x5 Incline DB Flies(30-35-40-45-50)
5x5 Decline BB Bench(175-185-195-205-215)
5x5 Weighted Dips(5-10-15-20-25)

5x20 Weighted Decline Crunches
3x20 T-Stabilization Push-Ups
3x20 Hanging Leg Lifts
5x60sec TVA Vacuums on a Bosu Ball

60min LISS cardio

walked home in the rain
